Possible New Order and Carebear Meetup?

I was thinking of fun games where the carebears, like Chribba, could look for prizes while the Knights go around bumping into them if they haven't paid for admission and displayed their "I Love James" photo and caption on their shirts.

Games:

1. Carebears walk around with metal detectors all day hoping to find buried treasure.

2. 1 Large Ice Block also available along with small picks to find treasures inside. Everyone will have to gather around the single ice block.

Everyone would wear some sort of costume- like those sumo wrestler ones you see at fairs or whatever. The Knights would go around and bump carebears out of range of their targets if the carebears aren't following the clearly posted rules.


I think such an event would be fun!

Any thoughts?

Fun, and educational. I'll support this.

Rent someplace for fanfest and make sure you have all the legal requirements taken care of. Sell 1-hour permits, then have an open bar and buffet. Your volunteer staff will be the Knights, and everyone else are the Carebears. Create a strict list of rules that are in everyone's best interest (e.g. no swearing, no offensive odors, etc.), then enforce them via bumping and ganking metaphors (idk but actually bumping or ganking them might cause problems in such an atmosphere). When the police (read: GMs) are inevitably called by the Carebears, politely show the police the tickets with rules and signatures. Also, make sure James 315 is there, via Skype if necessary.

Alternatively, freeze a voucher good for one free trip to the Bonus Room in a block of ice, and have Carebears compete for it while fending off bumps from Knights.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.
