The 7 Year thread got me thinking.....

I know what you're thinking. Iria thinking....Uh, oh.... Actually, most people are probably thinking, Who is Iria?

Anyways, I was wondering who else was a little obsessive about their avatar both old and new. My old avatar

I know someone made a repository, Cribba maybe, but who here saved their own copy?

I want the old background back! Hear me CCP! Anyways, the new one is good too. My new avatar has grown on me, to the point where I can even say I like it more.

That wasn't always the case.

I had to revise a time or two.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

I really liked the old outfit and hairstyle. It was quite outlandish. It would be nice if some old options became available again as buyable options. Platinum blond, different hair styles, and retro styles, like the see-through Amarr helmet.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

I wasn't around pre-Incarna if I remember when the new avatar customization came out, but looking at a few backgrounds I wouldn't mind replacing what I have now with one of those.

When Bon Scott died and he appeared before St. Peter at the gates of Heaven, St. Peter looked at his record and told him he couldn't get in. Just then, God screams at Peter, "Let him in, Karen Carpenter is driving me nuts. I want to hear some music with balls. We'll haggle over the paperwork later." At least I hope that's what happened.

Unfortunately, they announced that CCP took down the old portraits server, so I'm not sure if yours is going to appear.
Mine does.

I do miss the racial diversity we had with the old portraits. Now they all looks great indeed, but a bit flavorless.
Which is weird, lore-wise, knowing that each races are supposed to have evolved independently for dozens of thousands years, on planets light-years apart.

I am sad, as my first EVE character came right after they phased out the old avatar models, so I have no change to complainn about having to experiebnce. Lucky bitter vets.

There is no old portrait of Unsuccessful at Everything, only the epic sexiness of the portrait you now see..although I have raised the eyebrow just a hair 2-3 times..just to see if anyone would notice.

A lot of people's old portraits did look cooler, and it was awesome that there were more exotic clothing and background options. However, my post-Incarna portrait is and has been significantly more bad ass than the old one.

I prefer my old avatar, especially the background, but having these boobies kinda makes up for it.

This was the old me. Looking at the two now, yes, there was something a bit more exotic about the old one but they're actually reasonably close in concept!

I like the new avatars in concept, but it was easier for somebody who had no interest in the avatar to get something interesting that doesn't scare the living bejebus out of somebody than it is now ...

Too many that are just stock standard ...
