CCP wat r u doing

so I decided the other night to make a ridiculious looking portrait for my character, the one I had before was far too serious.... and I made this http://gyazo.com/e34bbef0a809231f730cb79f9e9ea9c7

However, sometime over night, my eyes were fixed.... when I woke up in the morning and logged in, my portrait was the same, except my eyes were open, instead of squinting like that.... I thought it was a weird bug, so I went and redid the portrait again.

I made this http://gyazo.com/f5a7bf848f18f69012c6701397fa921d

and now once again, my portrait was changed to this over night (what I have shown now as my forum avatar)

Is this a bug?
or is CCP just trolling me?
