Very recently upgraded myself (with a rather short "buildup"), bill seems to pile up noticeably higher//faster than before the upgrade.
Let's see... previous yearly usage, averaging around 1000 USD, 1500 USD tops, and that's actually a fairly generous amount including presents, trips, social events and such.
But... just the past 2 months (less than, actually) ? Roughly 2500 USD already, give or take (ok, that includes civil service expenses, "need this and that" wardrobe upgrades, significantly higher car fuel costs, and a honeyweek vacation). Likely to go up noticeably more soon enough.

Don't know about you, but to me that looks noticeably more expensive.
And after you eventually//probably add the "kids" option, you're financially screwed for sure.
