How to do a one man mining op

Well it's been a awhile since I mined. So I dusted off my hulk and grabbed some crystals. I also grabbed a mobile depot and 4 mobile tractors.

Goto your local belt and deploy the tractors as you see fit... just remember people can warp to them.

Get to your mining spot and drop your mobile depot with some anti-gank fittings.

Mine your oars and jettison the can... the tractors will pick them up for you. See a ganker then swap our your fittings for higher hp. So you basically mine for mining efficiency.... when you get nervous or see someone simply swap out the fit.

Bring some salvage drones too... the salvagers like pulling empty wrecks to each other. You can swap drones from your mobile depot.

and you can manage to change fittings before you get pop'd ?

If your not afk mining and watching dscan then yes... try it on Sisi and see how fast you can swap out. Idea came from someone complaining about a raven in a wormhole that swapped his lows with wcs before warping off.

You cannot swap fittings in raw space. Period. (I know, T3 subs now can do this blah blah blah.............)

So reading patch notes isnt your thing. Reading the product description isnt either.

To answer the question.... yes i tried it. Filled up 4 mobile tractors (which is close to or equal to 4 jetcans). As for not being able to swap fittings in raw space.... there are 4 catalyst pilots who will disagree with you.
