This is relating to RSS feeds - Original Topic Title : Eve Forum RSS? Broken much? - However the current one should be annoying enough.

Why is it that the results of

does not match this at all?

and why do many of the links supplied in the RSS feed link to EMPTY posts?

(example) https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=192255



1/2 of this topic is due to features, which are promised and not implemented properly
the other 1/2 is to get CCP to realize that if you have functionality that is broken either fix it or remove it.

Because nobody actually uses rss anymore and even a mobile browser friendly version of the forums is apparently too much to ask, much less something for your granny's rss reader.

Was just asking, because writing an app to scape forum HTML is such a hassle (not to mention the extra hit on the server in mass requests) RSS was designed for this, besides the forum is slow enough AS IS.

But thank you for your completely useless and unconstructive post, was at least helpful as a bump.

Now, before you post the next Troll, THINK of an original and/or witty one, because what you just posted is neither.

then why still support RSS? If its broken, simply remove or disable it. When I logon in evegate I see a headline that inferno 1.0.1. is going to be deployed.

I'd prefer to get it from the source, rather than a third party for many reasons.

Because CCP accidentally RSS when they made new forum and now there's no devs to fix rest of it.

Sad part is this happens all over the game where iteration of features would be useful.
