Long-term investments. Where should I put all my spacebux?

I'm getting burnt out, and not enjoying logging in anymore. I've been playing for the last four months, and suffice it to say I have much more isk now than I did when I started playing again four months ago.

Assuming I wanted to come back in three+ months and have roughly the same (or more) purchasing power, where should I put my isk?

I will probably have an active account, but I don't want to be logging in often, so it needs to be low management.

I will probably catch the Christmas PLEX sale and the associated PLEX price drop the comes with it, but what else should I buy?

MOAR PLEX?
Minerals?
t2 stuff?
ice?

what?

I've never speculated, and I'm not looking to take high risks. I just want to come back to the same purchasing power I have now.

If you meet the requirements, perhaps bonds.

tl:dr: Keep your ISK in your wallet.

Unless you find a commodity that you can easily buy into at the very bottom of its price range, you may not be able to easily liquidate your investment at a profit.

Investing in MD ventures is for funds you're ready to lose.

If you're main goal is to preserve your ISK with minimal risk, keep it in your wallet. Inflation is minimal, and the least of your worries.

Note: This is free advice, and may be over-priced.

Should I also buy zydrine insurance?

MD "investments" would qualify as high-risk in my book, so I will have to decline!

Buy a t2 bpo. Every t2 bpo, even crap vanity ones like small smartbombs, have consistently risen in value over the years, are getting rarer, and require minimal effort to produce off of while you're afk from the game.

You could engage the services of an ISK doubler.

Depends how much it is. Give it all to me, and Ill give it all back with some random amount on top. I'm always looking for more capital, especially with my Solitude trading hub project (see blog).

Alternatively you could look at the trusted third parties that do long term investments on behalf of investors.

Or, you could just sling it in your wallet.

There's also a pretty good chance that plex will continue to tick up in price. Most other items will always be tied to the mineral index which is easy to supply so can often drop drastically in price when suddenly someone doesn't need 3 billions units of something, but plex will always be steady. There's a huge long explanation for why this is, but it basically boils down to people getting richer (in game) and therefore looking for more return on their real money when buying plex.
