Character selection screen - reappearing

I couldn't find any topic about this - small - issue, so here it is.

Whenever I'm selecting a character in the character selection screen (which looks awesomely beautiful btw) the characters fade out and the loading icon shows up as intended.

Though every now and then after selecting a character the entire character selection screen fades back in before the client entered the game as the selected character. It doesn't stop the client from entering the game as the selected character though; I think it's just a graphical bug.

Note: I can not reproduce this issue. It seems to happen every now and then...

Hi,

This is very probably happening when logging into systems, which are not loaded yet. With Rubicon we are retrying several times to log in the character - and each try reloaded the selection screen (which looks strange). With the next client patch we are changing this behavior and are only reloading the character selection screen if the client gives up trying to login the character (if the system is somehow stuck).

i had this issue yesterday right after DT

selected my toon then was stuck in a kind of loop:

the fun in that, is that in the mean time, a corpmate was on TS and managed to login in the very same station i was trying to log in, and he didn't had any issue.

had to restart client 3 times before this loop stopped and i was able to finally see the station

try2 and 3, my friend was already logged in station, so clearly the system was loaded

ps: video was edited so it show only one of my two screens, hence the weird placement
