Hell, I've been in KIA for over 7 years.

Born 21-7-2004 - nine years and counting. Big 1-0 next july.

Guess that's going to be the next big step; how many 10 year old's are there out and about?

Not true - the Raven used to be PvP god, the torp raven being an "I win" button. Then they nerfed torps. Then they nerfed them again :)

May 8th 2003 :) 2 days after launch (had to wait to get game disc, still have it somewhere :)) although a show info on my character lies due to a bug way back with CEO changes and says a couple of months after that.

Made this character 2006.04.11, original character made 2005.12.22 at my parents' house over Christmas but it was the following April before I had internet myself.

Sadly, I've only been active for ~40 of those 91 months (although I've been subbed for significantly more) so I don't qualify for the club (tragic). However momentum from my heyday means I'm still ranked #19 on the forums according to eve-search.

I have a character that dates to 2005 - the year of the Guiding Hand Social Club heist.

There's real reasons why your Eve character doesn't do /dance.

First trial char back in late 2005: Terpentin. Login data lost though.
Started actually playing in early 2006 and paused about half a year in between until now. It was some good video clips and missing the corpmates that dragged me back in.

In '06 I remember quickly moving to a nice 0.3 system to be with rl friends. In the beginning there were about 15 ppl in local. The numbers rose up to typical 60+ in the years after. Nowadays on my visits it's pretty much dead with 5 tops, and even those tend not to stay for more than a couple of minutes. Kind of a sad state somehow.

Lately I feel like being on the brink of becoming a bittervet. What strongly irks me is that newbies seem to get more and more suspicious to helping or even socializing attempts. As if they were to get a better placing on some highscore somewhere if they manage to play for themselves.
Also I'm beginning to be afraid CCP is going to change too much too fast. You think you know stuff and then you get told by someone else: Nope, you're wrong - they changed that last week. Wait? That too? What about my 120 tested and approved outfitted ships yet again?
