Someone called?

I did, I was wondering what was needed for this weeks corporate holo-vid night, and instead of the usually scheduled programming consisting of educational indoctrination and corporate propaganda about the joys of industrial stationary I think watching some Jin-Mei kung fu martial arts soap operas is a fine accompaniment to kresh vodka and savoury snacks.

I have also set all the videos to be made with Krusual dialect dubbing and Caldari subtitles. No doubt the story will be hard to follow, but hey, after the first bottle it probably won't matter.

How about Saturday? I've got some pre-contact Achuran epic drama in the original dub on stack; let's throw them in and see if anyone can tell the difference.

I can never say no to any appreciation of Achuran culture.

I still watch Akasaya Campus as a guilty pleasure of mine from my youth. Although I swear, it's like I keep on getting older but those Achuran schoolgirls keep on staying the same age.

Actually, this sounds like a lot of fun. I'll throw together a highlight reel of big hits from the weeks AARs too.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

You know, the fact that most ethnic Caldari from outside the corporation seem often unable to tell one Achur woman from another must save Sukuuvestaa a fairly spectacular amount of trouble.

...Not to imply that's that's the case in this instance, of course.

Believe me when I say I am more than able to differentiate the differences between one Achur woman from the next. Familiarity can breed intimate cultural awareness I think, Ikiryo-haani.

I can always differentiate by the specific tone of voice when angry. Each Achur woman has a slightly different tone and pitch.

Actually, given the very high percentage of Achuran females in Pyre Falcon, I'm surprised by how easy it's been to keep our new Rookies straight. Well, differentiate between them, anyway.

I've always done my utmost to keep the Achuran women I work with as straight as possible.

I train with my katana every day, this superior weapon can cut clean through steel because it is folded over a thousand times, and is vastly superior to any other weapon in New Eden.

You must truly be a noble and honorable warrior, but only a thousand times? It is traditional to fold the steel at least ten thousand times over the coals of ones ancestors and then quench the blade in the tears extracted from weeping virgins to create a katana so fine that if in ones journeys one meets God, then God will be cut.

I've told you before, Chaika. Cheese? Yes. Onions? Yes. But never both at the same time.

Cut the old one a break here, pup. Memory isn't what it used to be. ;) I'll save that for when next we meet, Smarty Guy.

On a serious note about katanas... The method of construction and the shape of the blade makes them uniquely suited for slashing attacks... But trying to chop through somebody's body armor? That's holo hype, kids. The blade will break, especially on a powerful blow. And forget trying to take on a Nova blade with one... Powered blades will lop right through anything conventional.

And nobody needs an overblown princess whose key features are vitriol and an inability to look up non-capsuleer service records, yet here you are. Sod off, we live in two different worlds, and there isn't anything about you that would be useful in mine.
