Hey Guys,

Pretty kewl tip i got - if you like to bear in low/null sec, here is a tip for you to NEVER ever lose your ship while in a mission.

When you start any combat mission, using any launcher based, shield tanked ship - Cerberus, Drake, Drake Navy, Tengu, Nhawk, Raven, Raven Navy, Golem w.e, just make sure you deploy your mobile depot next to you while you spew away HMLs/Cruises and the depot has all the Warp Core Stabs that your lows can fit.

Now you dont have to worry about getting ganked or such common sensical crap such as watching local, using dscan, staying aligned, staying away from initial warp in beacon, watching for combat probes etc.

Just keep killing the red squares and IF/when you get tackled by a pirate, say, in a zoom zoom Stilleto with scram+disruptor, just replace your lows with WCS from the depot, scoop your 'mobile depot', smile in local and warp to a 'safe & cloak' or 'station & dock'.

Thank you CCP, that solo combat/piracy nonsense needed nerfing. Thanks for another tool for bears to brainlessly farm isk, because all the additional protection, like swapping rat aggro etc. was clearly NOT enough protection for us pandas.

NOTE: This ofcourse doesnt cover the eventuality of you warping to a large gate camp. For that you still need to watch local, use dscan and have a scout on the other side of your out-gate.

EDIT: I really hope the use of the Mobile Depot in-combat is intended. Same functionality as a cloaking device i.e. 'you cant cloak while you are actively targeted' would be really lame. So, for clarity, please Rise/Fozzie, DO NOT make it so that you SHOULD NOT be able to change fitting on a ship that is actively targeted. Regular or Tech3. DO NOT make that change.

The Mobile Depot is fine, DO NOT change it, i repeat.

You should post this instruction in the thread there people whine about insta-warping interceptors and how they make mining and ratting in null impossible.

point the mission runner but shoot the depot. You can probably alpha it into reinforcement with most ships. (fitting service doesn't work when reinforced)

The PHOBOS Focused Point script says NO!!!

And yes.. it can be used in Low and High sec...
