Dev blog: PLEX for GOOD Charity Live Stream

After request from the wonderful and caring EVE Community we have activated the PLEX for GOOD charity program to assist with relief efforts after the devastating events in the Philippines.

As part of this PLEX for GOOD drive we will publish a CCP Charity Live Stream on December 7 from from 13:00 UTC to 21:00 UTC at http://twitch.tv/ccp. Included are live roams on Tranquility, dev duels, a danger game session and ... several pledges by CCP devs!

We hope that you will all tune in!

Are those totals for the entire drive, or just during the live stream? In other words, will CCP Dolan be getting shot with 21 paintballs already?

Sounds like there could an internal drive at the office, with shooting CCP Dolan (live at twitch) as first prize ;)

Also, what sort of range are we talking about?

I used to paintball, but I took an arrow a paintball to the knee at close range-- ow. Owowow.

Very happy at the turnout we've had for this.

The incursion communities especially have done a great job raising money!

Recommendations:

-enable ships wobbling in hangar view (pre-Captains Quarters)

-add more missions (NPC fleet vs. NPC fleets that actually shoot)

-STOP NERFING EVERYTHING!

I did Taekwondo for eight years and won many awards. My last match before I quit, ten years ago, was against the guy I've now challenged and who's been mostly active since. It was the finals of the Icelandic championships...I got the silver.

So while I was moaning about the huge delay in announcing anything to do with a drive to help after this disaster, and honestly thinking you weren't going to do anything because it would hurt your finances, you were organising all this.

CCP, you may make some stupid decisions, but in this instance I was wrong. Sorry about that.
