Enjoying it, having issues finidng a Corp though, I want a large one that does lots of roams, but they either dont roam during my playtime or they have an application process that I waste hours of my gametime doing afterwhich they tell me to **** off your SP isnt high enough.

So alone.... :(

Eve is pretty cool. Play less forums, and play more spaceships if you've gotten the impression that we're paying a subscription to be miserable.

Most people are satisfied with the game. As with every commmunity, it is the butthurt loud mouthed misfitted minority that complains. Most EVE players don't even know about these forums let alone post on them.

PS - No you can't have no isk.


Nice fallacy, just because they don't know or care about the forums doesn't mean they have no issues with the game.

What the hell is wrong with you? Nobody "likes" playing Eve. What is fun?

People log onto Eve because they want to **** over the person who ****** them yesterday. If I send out a ping that says "We are taking out a fun roam to X", I get like 5 people in fleet. However if I send out a ping that says "We are going to kick the **** out of those X assholes tonight, log on and get in fleet.", I get 30 people in fleet.

Eve is the game we truely love to hate. We log in and force ourselves to replace that ship we lost or plan an offensive against people we despise. That is what sucks people into Eve. Everyone who wants a free hug and a pat on the back just for logging in plays WoW.

I love EvE.


Your first taste of combat, and youre shaking for a few minutes, so exhilarating...

Then you spend the rest of your EvE career chasing that high again....

Then you leave EvE... but you never really leave EvE... Its always there...in the back of your mind...

You see something EvE related somewhere..so you think to yourself "Ill just do it once more, I can stop whenever I want."...

Next thing you know, its 4 years later....




I may have gotten EvE confused with something else....

Well the ghost sites have been frustrating, but I'm still managing to make ISK off of them. I'm also finishing Hacking 5 soon, so that should make things easier.

I'm otherwise very pleased with EVE.

My EVE connect got shot in the spine. Now I just log in to heroin every day.

Tell me again about how every playstyle you dont engage in "doesn't require any effort" and everyone who does it needs to die in a fire. Be sure to mention about how you tried it once but it was too easy/boring/ethnic-homophobic slur.
