Raising standing from below -2.0

I would like to raise my standing with Caldari and eventually Amarr, but both of them are below -5.0 at the moment, any tips or advice?

There should be Caldari and Amarr agents in Matari and Galente space. Run missions for them, you will get storyline missions, they will raise the faction standing.

Also. When you get storyline mission for Caldari, you gain standing with Caldari faction, but you also gain a small amount with Amarr faction. Same with Amarr, you get greater boost to Amarr standing, but also small boost to Caldari standing.

Once you get above -5, run SoE epic arc, that will raise standing with all the high sec factions so you will not have to grind as much.

Err.. there are. See the Data centres in "The Plan" linked above. You can only use each one once, so it's not a repeatable solution, but you absolutely can get faction standing from tags.

if u want to repair your standing.

This plan works rly well but only 1 time per faction. But at the beginning it tells u some skills u would want to have.

EDIT: ups its getting late havent seen the plan linked before

Just wanted to add this to go with what everyone else has posted. Definitely train up the Diplomacy and Social skill right at first.

Since both Amarr and Caldari Factions are below -5.00 standing, start working the Faction with the lowest amount of negative standing. IE, lets say Amarr is at -5.39 and Caldari is at -6.02, thus Amarr is the Faction with the lowest amount of negative standing.

As such, start working the regular level 1 Amarr agent missions and when the Amarr Faction gets to -4.99 or higher standing, you can then safely enter Amarr space and start working the Amarr Event Agents listed in 'The Plan'.

Thanks all, big help and the Diplomacy at lvl 3 put me at just enough to get into one of the factions to get the standings repair underway.

Never really looked at these skill until now, finally seeing why they're important
