Any fix for the camera resetting and zooming back in after jumping gates or docking?

Yup my ship is also "facing the wrong way".

Not a game breaker but worth mentioning. Is one of the graphic designers myopic because I think this might lead us to the cause. Shocked

I'm also getting lower frames with interval one as well. Maybe 20% better when I switch to immediate. I don't have a great card though so I'm probably not as affected since performance was never great to start with. Closing all the inventory windows and station panel gives a better increase for me.

And yes, the AB and MWD are too loud for me too. I like them but they aren't in line with the rest of the sounds.

Also missing the blue (I)nfo buttons. White/grey just looks worse than it was.

The icons are back and uncorrupted so the rest is small stuff. The client is working (at least here). Just need to clean up a few details.

I like the update. Some new toys to play with and keep us busy for a while.

Fixed an issue causing the camera to orient on the dark side of ships after docking.

nope you just caused everybody to have the bug, front of the ship should point to the left, now its pointing to the right

This.

Camera is still going inside ships after almost every gate jumps. It was third bug-fix patch after addon and no fix. Is it so hard to fix? Maybe you don't know how it looks like? I'll show you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqGUqUlri-o&hd=1
Right after jump, zoom is unnormal inside ship and after zoom out, you can't zoom in so close. If you do so, that camera zoom save self position that players set after undocking, and this will remain after jumping through gates, you will resolve this bug and sound gates bug too.
Also sent bug report.

Out of all the changes in Rubicon, the one I hate the most is how the camera view constantly zooms in after undocking and or jumping through a gate. I like having the camera view out so I can survey the whole grid and decide which course of action to take.

Constantly having to scroll the camera view out to see everything on grid wastes precious time which leads to hasty decisions giving any opponents on grid a definite advantage.

Evil

While I'm thinking about it, there's a bug that was introduced with Odyssey which is very irritating, wastes time and also places the Capsuleer at a disadvantage. This is the bug :

When locking multiple targets, as soon as the actual target lock is established, that action causes any on screen right click drop down menu's to disappear. This pertains to all types of on screen right click drop down menu's such as changing munition types, issuing Drone commands, unlocking targets, etc.

CCP needs to correct this crap asap.

I having this issue too. But only on DX11 mode. And no, I using Nvidia. Asus GeForce 780GTX with 331.82 driver version if be accurate. After several alt-tabbing, my windows 7 x64 say me to go basic aero style too. And if I change to it, alt-tabbing issue is stay unresolved. Only DX9 mode help and I'm ok with it for now.

Skill queue shows time remaining for current skill instead of total time remaining for all skills on the character selection screen. Going to change that? or do I just need to clear my cache again? :)

The black icons issue got fixed, but I'm having a new issue ever since today's patch. All my ships in the station hangar are angled the wrong way. Instead of angled to the left like they've always been, now they're angled to the right. Not game breaking, but still annoying.

Hi,

I dont know if this is an issue related to Rubicon or if it has something to do with my installing a new SSD drive but here goes:

After Rubicon was released, I installed a brand new SSD drive with a fresh copy of windows and EVE. My sound & graphic drivers etc are all up to date to latest versions.

Now whenever I launch 2 EVE windows at the same time (main + alt account) my Nvidia driver crashes and I get a error message saying the driver stopped responding.

My Nvidia G-force drivers is version 331.82.

Think this has to do with Rubicon or something I need to install after format?

Bug repp'd already, but probably worth mentioning: ISIS breaks the Safe Logoff function. If you start to logoff with ISIS open, you see no timer: exiting ISIS gives a 'log off aborted' message.
If you start the logoff time then enter and exit ISIS, you get the abort message, but the timer stays around...even after it hits 0.0.

I'm 99% sure this happened with the PI planet management screen back when safe logoff was first introduced.

Thank you for the bug report. It is an issue that we are looking into.

Also having the alt-tabbing issue taking quite a long time. I'm on a Nvidia card, DX11 client.

We believe we have improved the alt-tabbing performance - the fix should make it to you on Thursday.

How about some of those engine noises, didn't bother to mentin it till now, but even zoomed out a ways it loud as doomsday and you constantly get the sound of them powering on and off, even when motionless. Also, whenever I warp away from a gate, I can still hear some of the gate sounds the closer I zoom into my ship.

Sounds like R2D2 and a jawa being thrown together into a pit of lava.

CCP. Guys. A week have passed and you still didn't fix the camera.
So I made a voodoo doll with "CCP" written on it. If you feel a headache - now you know the reason.

p.s. one of my friends asked for the second voodoo doll to be made for his use. New week started, what shall it bring to us: a new black sorcery action or a patchnote with camera fix?

Please PLEASE fix the "Snap to zero" after a session change jump.

So many people have talked about it here. Its annoying as hell to be at zero on your ship after every jump (especially with new Star Wars X-Wing noises for MWD)

Thanks

After todays unscheduled DT my drone damage has dropped to a fraction what it was before DT. I'm seeing it only with Ogre IIs though. Using garde II sentry drones I'll do about 5 times more damage on the same immobile large target than the Ogres, although the damage used to be less with sentries before DT. I tried logging out, but nothing changed.

EDIT: It's not a general drone issue. It's something to do with that specific group of ogre IIs. I did reconnect to them in space after DT. Even medium to small drones do much more damage now then that group of Ogres I picked up. I'll try docking up and repacking the drones to see if I can get rid of the effect on them.

Repacking the drones got rid of the issue. Now everything is back to normal.
