This letter is word for word, and the only edited material was his username. And warning it is a TL;DR

An offer.
From: Leader

To: dreamerdude,

Hi, What is your reason for declairing war on us? Did your handlers hire you to do their dirty work? What will it take to get you to cease your hostility? I am offering you an opportunity to exit this meaningless conflict and to save you a lot of headache that will definately haunt your handlers at some point in the future. Are you familure with history? specifically the second world war? What happened when the Japaneese made a mistake against a nation that they thought was going to be an easy conquest? I do not not fight wars the way most people in eve do. Getting clusters of people together and hammer each other like some ancient roman battle. I don't do gurellia warfare either. I do not let emotion cloud my judgement. No Ma'am. That is not how I do business. I am a very hard core skilled tactician pure and simple. I sit, i plan, I analyze objectives and I devise a means to deliver. I organize, I set my sights on certain criteria. None of which has to do with any style of combat that is common in eve. I have only one structure in all of the eve universe. That is all I want. only one. It's not much. If it explodes, which I think it will as currently we lack serious man power to pose a real threat against you or your handlers. I have zero intent on defending that station. Having said that, Should it explode, I will learn a lot. I will then begin a monsterous build up in a system far from here of hardware as well as a monumental recruitment of like minded combatants and become, at my place and time of choosing, A real threat and danger to your handlers. To avoid all that riff raff, this is the one and only opportunity I will offer any one that provides you a way out. You are about to awake a sleeping giant that will become seriously vengful, cunning, ambitious and a force to be recond with. Please, I ask that you tell me what is needed to end this conflict. Do your handlers want a reduced tax break? If its reasonable, we can work something out. I am certain you are laughing at this and will most likely not take it seriously and tell us to go **** up a rope or words to that affect. Whether you take the danger of destroying my station seriuously or not is of no concern to me. Like I said. i sit, I analyze, I plot, I plan and I execute. I am extreamily methodical in nature. Real life combat situations have taught me to be so. I hope you err on the side of caution and take what i said whole heartedly. Cause I absolutly, without any doubt mean every word i have just said. Their will be no quarter given, no peace available if your handlers make the wrong decission. We can either be allies or not. Choice is yours.

Thank you for your time regarding this issue. Have a nice night!
Respectfully,
Leader.

Part 2

After a reply, i think this is considered an apology letter

To: dreamerdude,

I never donsidered you to be a griefer. There is a huge differance between a griefer and someone who is a player. As for pirating, In high sec I find that area a little hard to pull off. Too many controls in place to hinder profit. Mainly concord. No Sir, I considerd you to be either a mercinary unit or a military branch of your alliance. A member of Five-0 pointed me to you when my alt asked her about her aliance. Her name is Belynka.

I hold no ill will toward you or your members. I been playing the game for close to 10 years. I have seen a lot in this game. I started out as an ore thief and probably have the longest lasting mammoth industrial in the game. I seen this game expand from a time when there was only 5 ship types. shuttles, cruisers, frigates industrials and battleships. Before the recession and before the creation of this corp. When I was with Scavengers, we had close to 200 active people. Now were down to 4 or 5 lol.

I been in quite a few PvP operations. After doing that for a few years, I developed interest in explorations and other similar areas. You are right that this game is widely diverse in possibilities and outcomes. That is one of the factors that has kept me captivated with eve. I tried WoW, lost interest after the first 2 weeks and no longer do I like sheep.

I appreciate the cool cat comment. I'm not looking to continue the war, as my interest lay elsewhere. Your people are pretty cool too. Not once did I see any bashing in the local channel. You acted very professional. You are welcome for the letter. Glad you enjoy it. This engage ment may have breathed new life in to this corp. Only time will tell. Ever since the recession we allowed ourselves to weaken and we became a little stagnent. Good luck in your Endeavors. Perhaps in time we might become alies.

Attack me and I will make powerful friends. That's a new one.

Normally they just claim that they have powerful friends in nullsec.

Hehe... I love these kinds of mails you get from war targets.

On another note though this thread will be locked since it contains mails from another person. There is only one thread in this area where you are allowed to post these kind of things. And it is stickied at the top.

Shocked

Everything in EVE is a trap.

And if it isn't, it's your job to make it a trap...:)

Most amusing mails, I love how he changes his tone, lol, but I didn't notice any tears. I guess any response at all qualifies as 'tears'?

Nope. A common misconception these days.

Tears = rage/bitching/screaming for changes. Perhaps this warrants its own thread.

Not really much in the way of that here. But its absolutely hilarious to read nonetheless.

All I could think about lol./

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.
