Where does everyone like to trade the most? Jita or some other hub? Looking to possibly move from Jita because I am tired of the .1 isk games..

Other than the standard Hubs---

Jita
Amarr
Rens
Dodixie
Hek
Oursalaert

It is probably going to be tough to get MD dwellers to reveal their "top-secret" trade hub. The links below are some old threads on the topic. Decide for yourself how timely the information is:

This chart is a bit old... but puts some numbers to the stations and ranks the top 30.

If you hate the 0.01 isk game, move to low sec and create your own trade hub.

And the interesting thing is that there is money to be made even in the 'hubs' way down on the lists...

Any colour you like.

i trade in dodixie because its the closest hub to my area of operations. Trading is a lucrative side business and I try not to just sit there and manage orders, I just update them as I go there for other reasons.

Stations by trade ranking

I trade in most of the hubs, depending on my mood/how bored I am/what I am selling.

I buy items cheap and offload low-end stock (T1 hulls and modules) in Jita.

I sell those cheap buys to, and buy the low-end items from, many of the "low rank stations" on the list provided by Rhivre and Hel O'Ween.

Considering that I am just 29 days away from Tycoon Level V and have invested at least 5,316,550 SP in trade skills total, I don't need to be in a particular station to trade. The whole region is my oyster.

I suggest you stay in The Forge region to retain access to Jita. You could, however, base your operations on the border between two regions; trading in multiple hubs.

Each one has it's own flavour.

Jita is kind of like an antique shop. I don't bother on common things, but stuff thats really rare and not used seems to do well.

Dodixie seems like a blue collar place. lots of things to get work done with, and seems to be manufacturers, with a few importers from jita once the price gets too outta whack

its been a while, but rens kind of had a wild west feel to it. there was definately bots there, but the red line was all over the green one on your items.

amarr i will be seeing soon, but usually when I think amarr, it usually ends up being a completely different beast than anywhere else, like quebec. assuming the trading will be the same

hek seemed nice, but so slow. havent bothered with ours yet.

and for nul hubs, if you can get into an org with logistics and a healthy market, it's the best for low competition, high profit. but you have to plan it well in advance and be prepared to give away half your winnings to jfs. you can haul it yourelf, but why take the risk?

as for low sec, I don't bother. The idea of people basically waiting for an opportunity to gank their own supply chains leaves me no desire to bring my capital to the table, especially when the margins aren't all that much better than highsec

Amarr.

It's the gated community of EVE.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

Hek for me, low traffic, but high margins, and the lack of competition is perfect for lazy once per day updates.

But when the margins fail you can always rely on Amarr to flog your overpriced **** and cut your losses.

Select a couple of stations and try to get the best feeling out of their traffic (insane undercutting is what you like ? Very low traffic hubs ?)

Don't ever think to make the trader in a way you don't get fun out of it...isk without won't last long.
