Just thought I'd point out how true this post is. Look at their current situation; get war dec from RvB for poco attack and culo starts crying on crime asking for everyone to defend him. Usual story, one day he's moaning about people not leaving dock / leaving corp when he war decs them, yet the second they get a war dec he pays mercs to defend him. Then goes on to cry "Look at my site, we're not a merc corp". I think people need to wake-up and start looking at the facts, if people constantly dec them, culo will keep throwing money away to other mercs to do his dirty work while boasting on the forums about indy kills.

So, who has been defending the poco's for them? No-one, what a surprise there... who has killed RvB members? The mercs culo hired in Jita (wow gate camping Jita, how pro), again same story. Seems someone else has stupidaltitis. Soon as the RvB fleet turned up in home system (only around 100) not one of the mercs or this supposed pvp corp had a fleet in system, they were all sat in dock.

If i may i'd like to respond to this in a couple of quotes.


Since you obviously only read op, feel free to take a look at this.

We didn't hire any mercs nor try to get people to fight the war for us, however some people do like to be at war with big entities like rvb, however it's an expensive dec (even if you're not marmite), which means that it's 500m for one part of rvb just for a week, it'd be saving some people that'd like to be at war with rvb 1b, by joining in on a wardec.

However do feel free to belive that i resorted to 'crying' for help, i'm sure i'd in no way be able to have convos to a couple of our many blues, in case we're getting wardecced by something i don't think the alliance is ready for.

This is part of the 'teaching' program, which i refeer to as "everyoneversuseveryone.com", we're not a merc entity, we wardec people, and i encourage people to go shoot stuff when there's an option.
However what i don't encourage people to it pure suicide, we haven't gotten around to the entire kite chapter yet, which was the reason for not taking out 5-6 guys in kite ships against an rvb fleet consisting of about 50 ships, when they came to nourv for the pocos we had setup. :)


You could simply not be more wrong, i guess what i'd moan about is when we dec people, and they're station tanking.

For the second part as to that we pay mercs to come help us.
Sometimes we do, sometimes we don't, however if that isk is being paid i can assure you, it's out of my own personal wallet, which is among some of the many reasons why our alliance is a great place to learn how to pvp.

If we need to we got batphones available.


I always do find it funny when people are saying we're mercing.

This is actually a discussion i've had many times with the alliance members on an invidual basis, and the conclusion have always been the same, they don't want the reputation of being a bad merc, so they don't want to merc... yet anyway, they want to learn all the aspects, and prosper from there, then possibly converge into a merc entity or join their own.

Which to that i might add, i've had a couple of offers to join up with merc entitys.

I'm sure we'd take on bigger entities and mercs in combat, if it was someone else than me that had Logistics alts or even their mains i'm sure we'd take more fights, but as it goes right now, we haven't had the chance to go for that many fights, which is something we're working on in the upcoming weeks.

We're teaching people high sec warfare, and apart of high sec warfare is to fight smart, which means you shouldn't jump on any given combat, and sometimes i make a bad call, aswell as i make good ones.
I've got to say i've honestly got no regrets in terms of what we've done so far.

Most importantly of all, the guys i've got in my alliance (most of them anyway) are some of the most disciplined pilots i've ever flown with.

It's ok, son - I know how this works.

Hire these guys, they'll stimulate you in ways you've never imagined before.
