I know I have posted a topic like this before ( when I first started playing this game) but I want to add on to it as today I killed somebody.

When I first started playing and got my first taste of what pvp means in this game compared to other MMOs I was instantly won over, knowing full well that as long as TQ is up and running I will be on playing this game, not long after I started playing EvE my other MMOs (Mostly comprising of Rift and even SWTOR) were either cancelled or fell to the wayside. It is now November, I have seen my fair share of epic fails (never warp to a moon in low sec to scan, i learned the hard way) and more than my fair share of laughs, gfs in local, and victories. With that first taste i stated I hope that adrenaline rush never goes away, and it hasnt, even if im in a 50 man fleet or by myself warping to almost certain suicide, the moment the safety is moved from green to red, the blood starts flowing, after a fight is over regardless of outcome, my hands are shaking and im left needing to go outside for some fresh air.

To those that said it would vanish Im sorry that happened to you, I truly wish you could feel as I do everytime i lock, point, and web a target, the greatest feeling in the world.

TL;DR: I effing love PVP

Cool story bro but its just a game. Nothing more nothing less. I have seen this type of post before and its all the same. I think there are some nice trolls to try to keep the peace around here to let people remember what a lose is....

Are you arguing that people shouldn't be passionate because "it's just a game?" I believe in the opposite. Because EvE IS just a game, you can let your passion be in control. In life, a man should be reserved. He should be always calm, always in control, always collected. But here? In New Eden. Let your emotions rule. Do you long to be someone that strikes fear in the hearts of others? Do you want to be a respected diplomat, able to quell the rage of others? Maybe you want to be a dictator, ordering the masses to bring you ISK and Deadspace loot? This is where those things can happen. In life, we're constrained by laws, morals and human decency(or at least you should be) but in this game you can choose to honor or forsake those pillars of society as you please. OP, I say you should continue hunting that rush. Never stop feeling the exhilaration. If you lose it, find it again.

The day the rush fades, if it does indeed ever fade, will be a sad day, one which will have me re-evaluating what I do for fun in this game

It's a process, the first one is always like that. The more you engage and kill and learn what to do and what not to do, the faster that adrenaline rush will fade over time. Don't kid yourself.

It will become second nature, you will do it like clockwork, knowing what to do when to do it and when to bug out.

It's natural human behaviour.

Fight or Flight instinct....

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Titans on fire outside "The Alamo" of NOL-M9. I watched massive Super Capital fleets glitter in the dark near the BKG-Q2 gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain...  Time to die.

But still its a "GAME" nothing more nothing less. I don`t invoke or provoke a argue about what he needs to feel. I just say I like it. Because I don`t have that in pvp. Its just normal like any other pvp game for me no rush adrenaline no hearth attacks when I pvp. Just relax pvp for me I don`t care to loss a ship, so I don't have that.
