Any Point in finding a Corp for Level 3 and 4 Missions?

Once more I come here for advice. first of all I need to thank everyone that helped me out in my last thread. I am super happy bunny in my Navy Harby with Pulse turrets. Now I know the benefits and how it all works.

So here comes another question from me. Is it worth for me looking a High sec corp for Missioning level 3 ( currently ) 4 missions. I am in small friends Corp, which he uses for WH. the only reason I am in it - 0% corp Tax. I am more of a lone wolf in my activities, but I am in touch with all my friends in Our private chat. all in separate corps, but all in touch. :)

My plan is running missions now ( not mining anymore, loads of isk, but I finally want to go do some more fun stuff ). I am already doing level 3s. More for fun and experience, then income. Extra Isk I make I just dump in silly overpriced Faction modules. So after I get some more Training in shields I am starting on Navi Apoc*/Nightmare training. Its for level 4s and maybe Incursions.

So yeah, any point in to getting a PVE corp now and take Corp taxation? any benefits I will gain off it at my current situation?

If they are willing to split rewards you will get standings, isk, lp which will allow you to have the req standings to run l4s on your own. You really need to think about it like this: If the corp tax worth the companionship/split loot.

If you have low skills or poor knowledge of the mission it might be helpful to have another pilot around as back up if things go **** up. At the very least they could be the one that dies while you warp out.

Well standing is not really an Issue. I got 7.04 with the faction I work with ( havent done a single level 4 too ). so far I can do all level 3 Missions, but not the Blockade one ( at least I have not tried it yet with new refitting and my upgraded skills etc. ).

So the only benefit I would get is to tag in with someone. I guess in level 4 missions it would be handy as last time I did those on my low skill alt it was really hard.

So the real need for High sec pve Corp would be if I do incursions?

Incursions, access to jump clones if the corp has the standings, pos access if the corp has one, there's always companionship (overlooked as it cuts into isk/h).

Cheers. Looks like I might stay here for now as I got enough Company. When I will get good enough for Incursions - New corp!

You do not need to join a new corporation to join in with incursions.

Most incursion groups are actually "communities" - in other words groups of individuals who band together to fight Sansha/make ISK. There are various communities & who you chose to fly with will depend upon who you like to fly with & what ships they accept & what ships you can fly.

There is an excellent thread full of useful information on incursions that you might want to look at. The link is - https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=206859&find=unread

In my opinion, before you even dream of getting into incursions you should be able to solo most (if not all) L4 missions (perhaps with an alt flying a Noctis). I must admit I was fortunate enough to have a mate fly shotgun for me when I started doing L4 missions (at least the harder ones anyway) - helping out once or twice when things got a bit hairy. If you fit your ships properly & manage the agro you will do these easily.

At the end of the day, EvE is more fun with friends.

Good luck.
