Im a noob. Im doing FW things and very interested in highsec gate camping.

But i started eve to be comitted in big fights and fly dreadnought there. My final goal is also that thing.

But i dont know how can i join an alliance that can offer operations with dreads.

Of course, im really incompetent to apply such alliance, i know. But someday i will get enough skill points.

When the day comes, what should i prepare to apply such alliance? A lot of pvp experience? Careers in some corps?

Or other things? Special relationships? I just dont know. I want to prepare the requirements while playing eve.

Please give me some advice.

You'll fit into Null-Sec just fine good sir. Don't rush the process, it will just come naturally for you. Roll

Toss me a mail and we'll see if you qualify for an application to BATs and our free dread training program.

OP, train subcap skills first, they are way more fun and useful.

Then once you have a lot of subcap skills, you can either crosstrain for a dread or buy a dedicated character with ISK.

Getting into an alliance to fly dreads is easy, all you need is the ISK to buy the dread and the SP to fly it decently.

You have many choices with alliances, primarily nullsec, primarily lowsec, or primarily wormhole space—they all have different playstyles.

Don't join any "capital" flying corp that will just let anyone in for free (those corps just want to blow your shiny ship up). You want to find one that will ask for a deposit of 500m-2b or more. The higher the deposit, generally, the better the corp. As they say, you get what you pay for. This helps with minimizing spies and awoxers. Also, insist that your corp ask you and every other recruit for a full account api (that's every box checked.) You want them to look under every nook and cranny to ensure that you and your fellow newbros are not there to shoot friends!

You don't have to pay any real life currency to join Goonswarm, so don't allow yourself to be swindled!

I highly recommend Baltec1 or anyone in his alliance. They get free skillbooks, pretty much unlimited ship replacement, and like the residents of Alaska who get an oil check every year, you will get lots more free stuff from all of their alliance isk makers.

Anyway, those are my suggestions. Lots of people out there will try to tell you all sorts of nonsense, but that's the internet experts for you, getting their knowledge from a long game of telephone. LOL

Corp Recruitment Specialist- now for hire! For a small fee, I will grow your corp, using all the secrets I have learned in powerful nullsec alliances that they don't want you to know about!  Beware jelly haters who will contact you with vicious lies!  They just want to keep these secrets to themselves!

You probably think that flying a dread is insanely awesome because they're like, huge and do loads of damage.

Dreads are incredibly boring. They're slow, terribly vulnerable, greatly limited in what they can do, and require huge amounts of well co-ordinated team effort to use effectively. And what you end up with is something that, 99.9% of the time, is used to shoot structures. There's a reason that most of the dreads in EVE are owned by corps and are handed out for ops: it's because they're used for corp/alliance level goals and not many people want to waste their personal ISK on them.

A Dreadnaught is basically the last ship you should be looking to train up. I advise that instead you: Skill up cruisers and battlecruisers and, you know, have fun.

I have removed some rule breaking posts and those quoting them. As always I let some edge cases stay.
Please people, keep it on topic and above all civil!

The rules:
2. Be respectful toward others at all times.

The purpose of the EVE Online forums is to provide a platform for exchange of ideas, and a venue for the discussion of EVE Online. Occasionally there will be conflicts that arise when people voice opinions. Forum users are expected to be courteous when disagreeing with others.

4. Personal attacks are prohibited.

Commonly known as flaming, personal attacks are posts that are designed to personally berate or insult another forum user. Posts of this nature are not beneficial to the community spirit that CCP promote and as such they will not be tolerated.

5. Trolling is prohibited.

Trolling is a defined as a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting other players in an attempt to incite retaliation or an emotional response. Posts of this nature are disruptive, often abusive and do not contribute to the sense of community that CCP promote.

26. Off-topic posting is prohibited.

Off-topic posting is permitted within reason, as sometimes a single comment may color or lighten the tone of discussion. However, excessive posting of off-topic remarks in an attempt to derail a thread may result in the thread being locked, or a forum warning being issued.

Quickest way to be capable of flying a dread.

1. buy lots and lots of PLEX and convert to ISK
2. go here --> https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=topics&f=277 and buy a character that can fly a dread

Never pay isk to 'join' a corp, that's always a scam.

You seem very 'innocent' or are a spai looking to awox some caps. Either way train sub caps first.

Just do it. Pick a corp in a random alliance and ask to join. Go to the recruitment channel and get yourself recruited. Everyone hates recruiting so the bar is actually pretty low. Noobs are not a problem, awoxers are. Convince the recruiter that you really are who you say you are and you'll probably get in - unless you're aiming for some of the "elitist" alliances that have specific killboard/experience/skillpoint requirements. All that's needed is that you be on comms, show up for corp/alliance ops, and generally avoid being a pain in the ass. Most alliances are in a relationship with one of the coalitions, so you will probably be asked to use your dread on alliance/coalition ops at some point or other.

eve online isn't a game about being useful, it is a game about skill training.
