Mobile Tractor Feedback

Post here if you have some feedback to add:

1. Great addition to the game, even a Noctis is painful after a while.

2. Should be trainable to improve tractor beam speed (to speed rate of looting).

3. Secondary skill to be trained at level 4: Salvaging so that you don't have to return and do this as well.

This is absolutely something that should be handled by robots in the Eve advanced technological future. Say good bye to wack-a-mole forever in a Noctis!

1) There's a feedback thread for the expansion, so you might have better luck there.
2) No clue what you mean in #3, unless you want it to do salvaging too (Easy Mode)
3) If any training were involved I would suggest a skill that takes one second off the default delay between tractor runs (default=10 second "recharge" time)

I kinda like it at this point. If I have the spare space in my cargohold, it opens up a utility high slot on my fits that I have a tractor set up for.

This mod and the mobile depot were "perfect" additions for level 4 mission runners in Marauders.

CCP buffed hi sec nicely.

Why only high sec. Never looted any forsaken hubs. Now clear hub - drop tractor unit - get to next hub. After you have done enough hubs grab your Noctis collect loot - speed salvage. As we can see all pve has been buffed.

It would be cool if it always targeted the farthest object every time that way when you have more than one deployed they don't fight over an object that is close.

SHouldnt it auto salvage? If i remember right it was supposed to tractor in loot then salvage everything. My ishtars will rejoice and that might be another 4-5b a month in income i used to leave drifting in space...

drop tractor, launch salvager drones, go afk...
See someone blowed up your tractor unit, and stole all your loot.

Its nice, but the fact that it has no concord protection, and there's no "secure" hold. any ninja salvager can coem in and grab the stuff, means it s not really a high sec buff.

Personally I like the mobile depot better

Can Flippers live, who knew? Though it would be nice for them to at least take a security hit.

Everyone who has used one wonders if they can be stolen or stolen from? Dunno for sure, will test in the morning.

In this case, they don't even can "flip".... they can take from it without even getting an aggro flag, isn't that correct?

That might actually make it less likely to happen, as most are out to bait someone into combat

I'm not sure, is it? From feedback on another thread they referenced that only the person who dropped the unit could access the loot.

I haven't gotten around to trying one yet.

Yes, you can leave it in a room and go to the next, even jump back to the station where you got the mission and when you come back all the wrecks are looted and in a little pile. You scoop the module and it dumps a can with all the loot.

Absolutely perfect for very large rooms. Place a bookmark and come back to your lewts after mission turn in.
