Keeping a mission open

Is there a way to keep a mission open after I've completed it? For example:

Sometimes missions have asteroids in them. If I wanted to bring my alt in and mine up those asteroids, is there a way to make the space stay and still turn in the mission on this character?

I tried doing that once, I had my alt warp to me and bookmarked one of the asteroids. I left and turned in the mission on this character. My alt started mining, but once his ore bay was full, I warped him back to a station to deposit ore and come back out but the mission site was gone.

Other than always keeping a character in the mission pocket, no.

Don't complete the mission or flag it as complete and you can have it for 7 days and reclear as needed if you want a private belt to mine in.

This.

Don't complete the mission, and you can come back anytime for the next 7 days. NPC's and other contents (Asteroids) respawn with every downtime, so you can clear them again. Enemies Abound is especially suited for this kind of farming.

EA 1/5 got plenty of Minerals
EA 3, 4 and 5/5 have juicy tags.

Lot's of profit to be made there.

Thanks for the advice everyone.

On a side note, I've never seen that mission. I've done all my missioning for the Caldari Navy, so i don't know if that matters at all. My favorite mission agent is at 9.1 standing (I had him up to 9.5 but I had to fail a mission and that dropped me back down to 8.5).

It's a L4 against Gallente & Minmatar that you will get working for Caldari agents and a graveyard of Raven Navy Issues of 1 month old players.

Ahh. Yea, I'm only doing level 3's. I only have a little over 6 million SP, I don't feel like I'm ready to lose a billion isk ship.

FYI, Worlds Collide is an excellent mission to farm. Just do not loot the NPCs from the container in the 3rd Room, and the mission resets at downtime.

Yeah, it can be a quite hard mission if you mess up with triggers. 1 and 5/5 are especially tough (dishing out 2-3k dps fully triggered). However, fit an MJD and you should be fine nowadays :)

I agree.

That is correct. However, i never do things like that when i run L4s because there is always a scanning guy ready to take your stuff if you are not careful (it's a legit game mechanic and i'm not complaining). In less crowded systems it is more feasible, but still i don't like it.

If you had equipped a MJD, you could have gotten away.
