What alt would compliment an ISHTAR Pilot for all use.

You know the skilling process takes awhile, so I wanted to start an alt backup character for this ISHTAR wanna be pilot.

This character is going to be an all around ISHTAR pilot for both PVE and PVP specializing in drones.

I want to make a buddy character for him that would assist in both play styles.
My thoughts were to make a Recon/Covert type of pilot that Jams for PVP with great scanning skills for finding sites.

Any thoughts from those who know?

It would be cool to keep him Gallente for the RP side of things as well.

Rapier was my first thought as well.
Falcon could essentially turn off the incoming DPS, let you take on bigger targets.
Arazu would let you hold point for longer range.

I mostly fly Ishtar and my alt is in a command t3, max leadership and 4 links running + probe and warp cloaked, even got room for a salvager so i can clean up after myself :)
Only thing i would trade it for would be a Falcon.

Use a Loki. A falcon isnt going to keep them from getting back to a gate or burning out of your point/drone range. A falcon is better suited to support a Deimos or protues.

A second Ishtar is the correct answer. Domi Duos are just outrageously effective and easy to multibox. Ishtars are the same way but with less remote rep capability and more mobility, although I think you can at least get a cap chain going if nothing else.

Only reason to do something else is if you specifically need a pilot for probing/scouting/or utility.
