Mobile Depots - The scourge that is clotting our space.

Starting to see a lot of mobile depots placed outside popular stations and was wondering if spamming these depots is akin to dropping mass amounts of cargo containers on gates for de-cloaking.

Would love for ccp to clarify if we should be reporting people who spam drop these new items or not. If nothing is said and done now what is stopping a group from causing chaos on a larger scale with these items.

Just wondering atm as someone has placed roughly 50 of these mobile depots off a popular station and it seems wrong and punishable. In hindsight there should of been a anchoring limit set to these items.

Apparently it's ok as long as it doesn't cause lag. Seems a bit of a grey area. So, if you get some crazy lag because of all the deployables, and you can petition CCP, and apparently they turn up on the scene to assess it all. If it's all laggy, then they hit the uber button and it all explodes!

Those are the sort of tears i think i'd enjoy.

... you should prolly take some screenies in case they are not able to show up right away ... including overview but ...

You may be asked to report using the new system where you can only report one char at a time ... We had that experience with bot mining (many many dozens of chars numbered sequentially and also with the jettison containers by the many dozens at a gate when the system was in that expanded time mode or whatever ... bleh

personally I would be ok with there being none allowed within 600km of any NPC station as it seems utterly pointless

Kind of looks a little overboard to me. Wouldn't surprise me if CCP does do something about the ones just being spammed for the sake of spamming them like in the picture. They got rid of can art, so like I said, wouldn't surprise me if they did the same thing for these.
