Kate has a very girl next door look. I like it. Nothing stands out, but it's a solid portrait and a nice character. 8/10

Pale, green-eyed ginger with lots of freckles. Probably one of the more "natural" looking female avatars, definitely stands out in the crowd.
My only issue is with the leather jacket- the reflections just somehow look artificial and don't quite fit with your naturalistic face. I would change the lightning, maybe that'll do the trick, or change for a less shiny jacket (brown would probably be better than black). 8/10

You look like an inquisitor of sorts, which is kind of cool. However, the blonde hair and the lighting + a dark background pretty much make it look like a head w/ blonde hair floating in darkness at first glance. I would maybe work on the hair color, or go with a different lighting/clothes/background to make the whole thing more cohesive.

But really, looks like someone my humble minmatar punk-pilot would round up the troops and jump in a station back-alley... you know, for being amarr scum and all.

7/10, because I have a theme in my head of where you are going and I like it.

@Ish : pwetty, nice light, creates realistic skin color. Pose works also nicely and BG is okay, but why did you change the hairstyle ? Long hair was better IMO, 8/10.

Long hair clips with the shoulders & the pose needs both bare shoulders and a hairstyle which frames the face, so, there is not many options... Sad

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the fact that the portraits rendered by the server don't use physically simulated hair. I've been wondering on how that could be corrected and how much it would stress the server. Probably too much for it to be worthwhile. Oh well, I guess it's not such a big deal anyway.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm not a big fan of your avatar. The lighting is just all over the place which isn't necessarily your fault, a lot of times you just have to carefully manipulate the poses to get something that doesn't look like 12 different flashlights pointed at your character. I dunno, just doesn't have that "capsuleer" look that I envision.
