Chribba wasn't given one, as far as I know. He's merely selling it on behalf of someone who won it through Blink.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

To clear up some thoughts here.

I hold an auction of an SER - I do not have it myself, the image I have posted is the proof of the owner of the auction that the ship is in hangar.

I've not received a ship like this of my own, nor being asked or similar.

Right. Okay.

So we're back to, "Somer - and only Somer - had a bunch of unearned isk directly injected into their wallet by CCP strictly because of favoritism."

If you're going to go with platitudes, you would probably be better off sourcing something from Confucius instead of trying to freelance.

And if this would be true how would it impact your game?

Or is this still about the "importance of being right", or "whaaa, he got a shinier toy than me!".

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

He didn't get a shinier toy. He got a commission on the delivery of a shiny toy. I give zero fucks about the cruiser itself - at issue is the fact that Somer was granted carte blanch to profit from its distribution for no reason.

Eve is a competitive game, and, as such, everyone within the game is supposed to be playing by the same set of rules.

Somer is playing by a completely different set of rules from which everyone else in the game is excluded, and, significantly, the rules Somer is allowed to play by guarantees that they're no longer engaging in Eve as a competitive game, but are ensconced on a level at which they are artificially sheltered from the game's competitive aspects.

This is, in fact, anathema to the very nature of the game.

When CCP handed items of immense value to player organizations in the past, it was regarded as a scandal. Suddenly it's policy.

Good comeback, Garth, but I wasn't

I was trying to explain that you can't have one-way favouritism

Right now its being that your inability to grasp simple concepts without a diagram is exceedingly tiresome.

So you don't actually have a point, bringing us back to... platitudes.

I'm sure it sounded very clever to you, but it doesn't actually matter, and does nothing to ameliorate the fact that CCP is treating a previously scandalous behavior as policy.

You're an idiot

Just because you haven't the wit to understand a simple sentence does not mean I don't have a point

Getting upset isn't really the proper way to handle not-having-a-point. You should calm down, collect yourself, and come back when you have a point.

Your school-yard debating skills have no power here

Ive made my point

And as Ive said

If you are too stupid to understand, that doesnt make it less valid

It simply invalidates all arugments to the contrary you are capable of making

No, you haven't made a point. You haven't even presented one. You dropped something that you imagined to be clever that had absolutely no bearing on the conversation in the least.

Then, you threw a tantrum, called names, and, without a hint of irony, started whining about "school-yard debating skills" Lol.

Calm down, it's going to be okay. I'm sure you'll have a point to make some other day.
