Solstice..... it's because there's a new ship now. These guys were playing, zoomed out, and now they want to see their SoE ship... which explains why it took them this long to notice the MWD sound.

Clearly their build on Singularity wasn't the same as what made it to TQ, because I didn't have this problem on there (and I was testing quite extensively). Enjoying the rain today? ;)

There is a fix

Its called "World Volume" slider in your sound options

I think pilot Les Wynan should do more thinking and

I hate to do pile-ons and all that negativity "Grrr CCP features" stuff, but I must admit that the AB/MWD now sounds a little like a train braking. I have spent enough time on subways to know that sound. That squeaking sound sounds like the brakes on a train.

When I hear it I start watching out for muggers.
