Curious what part of Boston that was in? If that (and/or PAX) is somewhat accessible by Acela train I'll consider a day trip from NYC area.

It was accessible by train, and PAX East is certainly accessible, assuming it is in the same spot next year, it was very close to South Station, which is where the Acela takes you.
