Hi,
I'm currently flying a Vexor and run level 2 missions. I have a drone bay full of Hobgoblins and Hammerheads that work well and have 3 250 railguns. I'm planning on moving up to a Myrmidon in the near future. I have had no complaints about the railguns and so am somewhat perplexed by how much criticism these weapons seem to get. I like to snipe from long range and not mix it up close in. I'm intending to start level 3 missions with the Myrmidon. If I don't go with rails, what do people suggest?

Medium rails got a massive buff recently, they aren't half bad.
The tracking is somewhat low, but for missioning they should be alright.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

If you are only using Medium drones on your Vexor you will probably be better off flying a Thorax atm.

Honestly, since he doing level 2s, mediums are the best choice I would think. He is shooting cruiser a NPCs and has no web.

And rails have always been good in PVE. With the recent changes, they are even better. It will be harder to track frigates, but that is what drones are for.
