I quite like them(more immersive).I would also love a sound when engaging into warp(you know, while aligning maybe) similar to this(like a charging lazor thingy) Big smile

Who ever put a 6 speed transmission in my ship, nice touch. Brings in the exotic dancers when I pull up and rev that ***** up.

I think there may be a minor bug where you hear the sound clearly from other ships that have a MWD engaged whenever you enter grid with them (I need to check on that), but otherwise they are great.

They are finally sorting out their audio issues, don't you dare jack that up. X

The sounds themselves are okay. The volume level, especially coming from other people, is not.

If nothing else, make it subject to the "quieter turret sounds" toggle.

How can you guys like that sound? Its so loud and annoying, you can barely hear anything when everyone's MWD in a fleet turns on.

Just zoom out a little the noise goes down allot, I almost didn't notice it because I normally view from about 40K+ out(whatever shows my entire targeting bubble on the tactical view.), I had only just undocked so CCP in the infinite wisdom resets you camera zoom :(

I think I mentioned it before, but the new MWD sound reminds me of the turbocharger on my Datsun.... all that's missing is the blowoff valve noise when you turn it off :p

I think the sounds are too loud (and much too much like moving through atmosphere). If I can't hear Aura over the sound of my MWD (or someone else's), that's a problem.

"Enduring", "restrained" and "ample" as designations for starship components are foreign to the genre of high-tech science fiction and don’t belong in Eve Online. (And as for “scoped” …)

Fleets now sounds like Formula1 race. Yet another argument for a liquid as the base substance of space in EVE.

I expect there will be sound of ships warping in and out in the next patch - silent warps are boring. Also sound of ships (de)cloaking. Also working rep modules - both local and remote. Sounds of e-war modules. etc. etc. Not realistic but who cares if it's fun?

If you are MWDing and then hit warp the sound is awesome. I tried this in a ratting punisher. Awesome and brutal sound.

Dumbing down of Eve Online will result in it's destruction...
