DUST Players get a respec

CCP is making "Major Vehicle Adjustments" to DUST as per this thread https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=122274&find=unread

So where is my Respec? I want nothing less than a full SP reimbursement of every skill in Spaceship Command that was required for all the ships you butchered in your tiercide. If DUST players get it why don't EVE players, we're in the same universe (or at least you try to pass off that we are but I don't see it) so why are consoles getting a perk we're not?

also the respec is because they're removing vehicles as is mentioned in the very post you linked

which, by the way, has been the only situation eve players got sp reimbursements, too

My old cyclone was remvoed, my prophecy was removed. They were both replaced with ships I don't have skills in I'm not drone or missile specced so they were basically removed.

no, they were changed so they're not worse versions of the hurricane and harbinger, the ships people with battlecruisers trained actually flew and can still fly today

what you doing in command sships? is your corp doing somewhat large fleet battles? i tought it was a npc corp with no fleet formups etc

Pretty much this.

No one has lost much of anything due to the re balance efforts (in fact, a lot more has been added). Just because people choose not to use them in the manner they can be used now, doesn't mean they are useless.

btw... the Prophecy can still be used in the "old way"... some extra "bells and whistles" have just been added.

We're in the same universe, but its two different games with totally different mechanics. One is a MMORPG.. The other is a shooter.

CCP isn't just doing major vehicle adjustments, they are removing a heap of stuff outright. Unless they've removed something from EVE that you've skilled for, you've got no claim to a respec.

When blops battleships were first introduced to the game, they consumed stront when opening a covert ops bridge. You could reduce this strontium consumption by training up the Jump portal generation, a rank 14X skill. Some of us trained it to level 4 and 5.

When CCP removed the strontium requirement, having this skill at level 1 was just as good as 5 for non-titan pilots. I was told I would not be reimbursed the SP difference to level one because the skill would still be useful if I fly a Titan.

I have a workaround for you OP:

Biomass, start a new character, respec as you go.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.
