Patching Problem -- Error -3 while decompressing data

I has the 282MB issue - downloaded and failed.

I had a copy of my SISI folder and applied patch manually from Chruker, this was 25MB and worked.

Hope this helps, tier 3 v3 textures are amazing Big smile

Gah I reset mine to TQ and now can't get back that patch manually. :( As some of them seem to be missing from Chruker.

Oh.... Dont worry, i think were all stuck at the TQ version at the moment.....

That patch off Chruker is no longer downloadable, when clicked on you just get a blank screen and cant save the link.

I tried to make a post saying i had same issue, with steps i took and error messages...

then got f***ing ganked AGAIN


ok ccp i was happy....but little things like broken patches and forum ganks is getting tiresome

Run the client without the launcher and use the in-game patching tool al la TQ.

Im lost, how did you manage to get the sisi patcher to appear on a TQ version....?

Eh? I have two Eve folders. One for TQ, another for SiSI.

So basically, I went into my SIngularity folder and ran eve.exe. The rest was done by the game's autopatcher.

You may have to run the executable using a shortcut that tells it to connect to Singularity if you don't have a dedicated SiSI build anymore. I'm sure the necessary parameter can be found on the forums somewhere.

Ok, i have done that, got the auto patcher up and it is now downloading the 282MB patch that keeps failing.

Not the autopatcher. Run eve.exe, the game executable. Once you enter the login screen, you'll get prompted to download a 25MB update.

I am at a TQ version, it will be a bigger patch than 25MB to get to the Winter version What?

I am running the eve.exe for sisi, i get the server name sisi, but the auto patcher is giving me a 282MB download, which has just failed.

Ah. So you run the game, then the patch doesn't work?

EDIT: I see. Don't know what to do about it TBH. Maybe try downloading a completely fresh install? I know it's going to suck having to download several GB worth of client, but there's nothing else that I can still think of.

I did this, not any better at all.

ok.. i got the same problem.

here is the fix:

- step 1: check your current sisi version
- step 2: download all patches from http://games.chruker.dk/eve_online/server_status.php (the downloads are fine) - install them
- step 3: start eve.exe
- step 4: maybe there is one more patch else login

works for me!
