I'm sure you could spare the requisite $99/yr fee and it might help us OS X users to play your game.

Whenever I tried to load Eve Online on my Mac since upgrading to Mavericks the client bounces heaps of times then does nothing and I have to kill it from Activity Monitor.

This is AFTER I have to go into Applications and right-click on the Eve Online client and choose "Open" from the menu in order to kick off the "This is not from a registered developer do you still want to open this application" window.

So basically after saying "Ok" it hangs. But here's where things get interesting. With Activity Manager still open I noticed that "CoreServicesUIAgent (not responding)" was highlighted in red. When I rebooted the Mac I get the same "This is not from a registered developer do you still want to open this application" message but I can't say "Ok" because the Mac is rebooting.

At this point I'm thinking that the issue might be related to GateKeeper so I turn it off despite the fact I'm loath to and sure enough Eve Online boots up the launcher.

It then downloads the Launcher update about 3 times then promptly crashes causing me to have to reboot AGAIN. So part of the booting issues is caused by the fact that CCP is not a registered Apple developer it seems.

Actually we are, and the EVE Launcher app is signed using an Apple generated signature. I would appreciate if you could screenshot your issues, so that we can look into them.

CCP Atropos, as long as you are here, how about unstickying the retribution 1.0 issues thread, and stickying the Rubicon one?

Also, a progress report on the two long running bugs would be nice (The freeze bug and the corrupted icon bug).

Thank You.

Yea, this has ben bugging me. It's kinda a glaring sign how little they give a c*$p about fixing bugs on the mac side when they won't even change the thread stickies to the current release. it's bad enough that all the debugging for the Mac client is done by the players anyway with little to no CCP help. But for fraks sake CCP at least put in the smallest of effort and sticky the right threads!

Then what's the go because GateKeeper is saying that the application is not from a verified developer and it won't open.

If I try to open it using the Open option from the menu it locks up. By turning off GateKeeper it works perfectly fine.

I can't screenshot the issue because it doesn't even load a screen.

Interesting.

By turning off GateKeeper then running Eve I could launch the app.

I have now turned GateKeeper back on and lo and behold Eve still runs fine. I guess for whatever reason GateKeeper was rejecting the app it doesn't matter now because the app has been running and GateKeeper can see that now.

Weird.

I use the clone maker and run clones. Every now and then a clone glitches and will not run. it opens and closes the app in about a second. So what do I do? I select it and hit command-o over and over, starting the app once every second. After 5 to 20 tries it catches and runs fine.

As you say: Weird.

Somehow a glitched client can fix itself.

I am having the same issue, but setting Allow apps from Anywhere didn't seem to solve my issue. Also, I am suspicious that this issue may have started after I installed VM ware? Is that possible?

EVE is working on my other Mavericks computers, but my newer laptop with the Haswell chip is not working (though I *thought* it was working at one point).

I tried deleting the ini file, but that didn't work.

Here is a screenshot that best shows what's happening: https://www.dropbox.com/s/43oxdfw4q5zmww7/Screen%20Shot%202013-12-16%20at%2011.16.39%20PM.png

I did find one way to get it to work, if I run in the true retina resolution, then it works. But I usually run in the scaled resolution to see the most on the screen as possible. When switching to the retina mode it works, when switching back it stops working again.
