I am incredibly frustrated with how EVE is performing on my Mac. Please help! How do I install/play EVE using Bootcamp? Is there any software I will need to purchase? I only want to play EVE using Bootcamp. I won't need it for anything else.

The instructions are fairly simple

1. go to store, buy windows 7
2. install bootcamp using the original disk that came with your mac
3. install windows 7
4. boot into windows
5. install EvE

Dangit. Windows 7 is $200. That isn't going to fly.

Well, CCP has firmly said they listen to your wallet, I cancelled my 10 accounts, I wrote them a very nice constructive email as well as put the highlights in my remarks when closing accounts.

If enough of us "Vote with our subscriptions and wallets" they will listen and make a REAL Mac client, until then we are stuck with a ****** feature missing client or Bootcamp/winblows, which is not an option I would even consider.

Starcraft 2 is lovely this time of year.....

Win 7 OEM, & If being particularly frugal, - the "Home" version, otherwise "Professional".

I stoped playing Eve on Mac - it is just sooo USELESS... wonder why they spend soo much time and money on a client that is soo bloody slow. I have all my settings on low/none and still the game has problem playing properly - a drama when I am running AS fleets.

The fun part is that when I use bootcamp the game runs all on high perfecly - even HQ incursions.

I also cancellend several accounta untill they are going to make a proper Mac client - like i said before - they should have invested the time and money in a proper mac client instead of this useless transgaming THING.

Guess the mac department was also in the 20% layoff
