+1, scales are pretty good up to battleships. Then everything above looks a bit too small...

Hummm, if carriers would be resized, then... stations need too !

Personnaly, i found that stations are really undersized, too.
(And especially, commercial hub stations)

For me the issue is the supercarrier's size more than anything. But yeah carriers are a bit small as well all things considered. Only ships that are properly scaled with their power/class are the titans. And perhaps dreads, seeing as you can't park ships inside them.

I agree, the problem is more pronounced with supercarrirers. My alliance was doing some capital/supercap wargames on sisi last weekend and everyone was in agreement that the supercarriers looked oddly small. We had a wyvern parked next to a phoenix, and the phoenix was larger and much more formidable, which makes no sense at all. If it was up to me I would increase the supercarrier's size approximately 1.85x, and the carrier's size approximately 1.65x.

My Paladin on SiSi is just about the size of a Thanatos.

What is that about?

I cornered several of the art team after their Apocalypse re-model presentation at FanFest and brought up this very topic that ships (and structures) which can hold other things which take up some volume should actually look like they can hold said volume. My cases in point were the Archon carrier and the Caldari player owned outpost. I described how immersion breaking it was that this skinny flat carrier can eject two massive battleships who's apparent volume in space far exceeds the volume of the carrier and that how can the Caldari station spit out hundreds of Dreadnoughts when it's just a collection of thin platforms.

The team agreed that it was immersion breaking and that there were efforts being made to make volume mean something. We further discussed how small everything in EVE appears and that a far more grandiose spacescape would go a long ways to improving the visuals. We talked about stations being so massive that they would be several hundred kilometers across.

Lastly we discussed allowing player owned stations to pick/choose from the empire station models when constructing an outpost. By varying the materials required you dictate the model of the station you want. The Amarr factory station could be any of the station models seen in Amarr empire space while the Gallente office station would be any Gallente empire station. They said there is no mechanic or code in the game which would prevent that from being implemented.

I like the idea to increase the size, but then they won't fit in the station hangar.
Stations should be increased too, inside and outside!

Carriers will still easily fit inside the station, I can say this confidently because CCP passed out supers on sisi once and the supercarriers fit in the hanger no problem, so if carriers are increased in size what supers are currently I don't think there would be an issue with them fitting. I do think that the point about stations being too small is valid though, but I would rather see them prioritize fixing supercarriers and carriers before they move on to stations.

While carriers will fit inside the station, I defy you to get them through the undocking ramp.

A naglfar inside a Gallente station, on the other hand.. that's an entirely different situation.
