Excellent work CCP! You have all my hugs!

I've been donating to VV's charity for nearly two years in the hope that another one of these would come along and had just about given up hope. You guys have made my day!

I can now tell my wife that playing EvE hasn't been 'a complete waste of time' Big smile

Regarding the fact that a Plex usual costs more then 15$ (depending on the country you buy it can be up to twice that price) and a Plex is only generated by buying it directly from CCP the whole action sounds rather fishy.

How about adding 5$ on top ov every Plex ccp?

Actually that's not true. You can buy GTC directly from various vendor (1 GTC=60day play time ~35$) and convert that GTC to 2x PLEX.

CCP how about making this more interesting and as well as a virtual Tshirt add an alliance and corp insignia for those who contribute.
The insignia could be placed in the top right of the corp or alliance tag.

The only prerequisite for the insignia, donations be equal to, corp 1 plex for every 10 members - alliance1 plex for every 20 members. This would allow even the smaller not so wealthy corps and alliances can contribute something extra, while the richer members can still make their individual donations for the Tshirt.

It really is getting harder and harder to justify $23 a month for each sub.

Excellent idea CCP!. PLEX has been donated.

Now this is my thinking... but maybe in situations where someone say.... oh i dunno loses a crap ton of PLEX while moving it to a trade hub in say a hauler/rookie ship, perhaps a portion of the real world equivalent went out as an involuntary "Player Donation" from said player who lost the ship/group of players who killed the unfortunate vessel to the relief fund rather than just being blown up and going out of the game.

I realize not all of the PLEX has actually been brought in to the game as a real world contribution through sales but still I think even some of that lost potential value could be put to better use.

Just my two cents.

As a Filipino-American that has family affected by this, I want to give my warmest thanks to CCP and the Icelandic Red Cross for their support. It may be two weeks after the storm, yet everything helps. Trying to stabilize that much devastation and hunger will take a very long time.

My great aunt passed away during the storm (heart attack of all things); however, the family members in Leyte and Cebu are safe and accounted for. Unfortunately, they cannot say the same for their close friend's families.

Ok, guys. That's an awesome stuff. But it would be awesome to see an online progress of donations. Maybe on news page. Maybe updated once a day or so. Usually it gets people's attention and more donations :)
