Every time I log in, my chat windows are resized to their default sizes.

ExeFile.exe /noconsole /triPlatform=dx9




This is the command line you need to run Eve in DX9 without using the launcher



Thanks. And FYI anyone else.... personally I got in without even forcing DX9. I just created a desktop shortcut to exefile.exe which then allowed me to edit the command line, to which I just added:

/noconsole

I added this after the quotes already in existence in the shortcut properties. Ran my shortcut and logged in. Odd why CCP would persist in using the launcher if it causes this many problems. Some silly little unnecessary front-end is blocking people from the game.

Fitting Screen Crashes Computer

When I load up the fitting screen in a station the client lags out and either the client or the computer crashes. I have tried it in a variety of stations and it has the same result. Never had any problems with it before Rubicon

run the repair.exe file located in main eEVE installation folder if you have any issues with the launcher.

None of these work arounds have worked for me.. I am at a loss here..

When I undock or when I am going to warp, my pc freeze.

I am missing ship icones/images and some other ones - can see just green colour.

Everything was ok before the rubicon was released.

OS Win XP, AMD 2.20Ghz dual core, 4GB RAM, ATI Radeon
running on dx9

and on the top of that i cant even create a support ticket!

killmails are not being generated properly. i lost a magnate due to a ghost site exploding (yes the death was from the site explosion damage) and there was no killmail generated for it in my personal combat log nor my corps.

Interdictors which had fitted 2 bubble launchers before the Rubicon still have them fitted and active. It means they can launch 6 probes.

I have an issue where I can get to the new character creation screen, but after selecting character the game crashes and my computer freezes up What? . I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, rebooting my computer obviously, and clearing the cache but nothing seems to work. I am running on a Macbook Pro, so I don't have the repair tool. Any Ideas?

I'm having exactly the same issue and I submitteda support ticket on it.
They did actually reply but their suggestions of running the mac repair tool and setting the launcher to close after launching the game haven't worked and I'm waiting for an answer to my latest reply.

While in planet view mode.
Right click on Buildings under the build heading to Show info but no information shows.
And now only a long black title line shows.
Therefore, cannot see what each building uses in the way of CPU, power or what it can make.

Yeah, me too. However, this didn't work properly before either, so... I guess it's not a new bug, just an old one? :)

This does a lot of initial hard drive spinnin but no launch. I tried it both ways too, with and without changing dx.

By the way, if anyone's confused about it, the command line is called "target".

Hey I get exactly the same thing on my PC. My character selection screen is totally black. I can hit 'esc' and bring up the settings window but no matter what settings i change I still have a totally black character screen. Hey CCP... I'm not paying to stare at empty space. What gives?!?!

I'm having an issue where the small icons for items remain dark.

Loading killmails causes issues with my screen.

When I'm scanning sometimes the scan doesn't update properly. It could potentially stay at, say, 17% no matter how much I scan.

I'm dealing with exactly the same issue. Very frustrating. I did a reinstall of the client and it continues to black out after character selection freezing my Mac.

Any info on how to overcome this?
