Are you in a criminal neonazi gang

Interesting question to come from someone in an organization that boosts the self-esteem of its members by convincing said membership that they are special and better than everybody else just by being members of the organization. Do I need to cite the rhetoric and the reuse of the old propaganda posters too?

Where have we seen that before in history?

The answer is in your question.

I do not have guns nor do I live for free in a GSF terrorist training camp

Hmmm... I hadn't been made aware that I was basically a member of GSF, now. Does this mean I can also make the "join us for 500m application fee" offers? When do I get my membership card? Can I dock at VFK? This is all new and terribly exciting for me.

If you have standings then yes you would be able to dock.

My problem with this topic is the "pile on the noobs" attitude that some players exhibit. While I'm not Mr. Gamer, having played everything, I have seen the effect of games that are arranged such that newcomers are severely handicapped. The kind of response I originally mentioned I have witnessed myself. Of course the game has way more dimensions and content than such a one-sided impression, but impressions are everything. And if things are set up so that trying out game content is nearly impossible, then a one-dimensional experience is all players will get. What will be the solution in the long run? Will it be a noob started zone where they can try everything in safety before setting out into the "real" world? I would bet that some of the same people basking in the butthurt now will be griping about "amusement park gaming" and "CCP favors carebears" if CCP had to resort to such measures. I have written many times that in a sandbox if you take the pale and shovel and make being in the sandbox all about hitting the other kids with the pale and shovel and then pointing and laughing, "Mommy" (CCP) will have to take away the pale and shovel (or nerf the hell out of it). Be nice to the noobs for these little ducklings will grow up to be drakes (literally) and they'll be worth the ammo you use to kill them.

After all this I wonder if CCP thinks there are too many people stuck on PI and are trying to get them off it, but rather than arbitrarily knock down PI, get the players to do the dirty work. Well played, CCP.

Seeing that I have derailed the thread from PoCos and have no tear investment in the matter (I really don't have interest in PI) I will take my leave.

Hi, I'm Mr. Gamer, I've played everything, and have the steam account to prove it.

You seem to be overreacting dramatically. If you don't like the current POCO situation, lead a peasant revolt and try to change it or something. The mechanics exist in game to be fought over.

For people who can actually be rational about such things, this shouldn't be considered an alliance so much as a neutrality agreement. Both sides have come to the conclusion that's there's no reasonable way to prevent the other from destroying their stuff if they really want to, and that such an attempt would cost both sides tons of isk. Instead, by supporting each other's POCO attempts, we can both make isk, and **** off everyone else at the same time - two things both Goons and RvB really, really like.

My friend gave me some guns this weekends and hundreds of thousands of dollars in equipment.
