Tried to run the repair tool as admin. The tool failed with this error:

I experienced something like that in my first round of patching before getting the offline error. Try starting the launcher and then closing it and running the repair tool again.

Originally I got a failure and I ended up running the repair tool two more times of the course of the hour. Quite odd that it didn't pick it all up in one go.
EDIT: Just for clarification I the repair tool patched files on all three runs in my situation.

Think it is time to skip this unfunctional launcher once and for all...

I can log in by using the exefile.exe in the .bin directory but when i try to start the launcher it only pops up with a "Offline Mode"

Only problem with this is when there's a new patch.. It then close all windows and starts the (un)launcher thing...

I used the repair tool, and it downloaded/installed a minor patch, but did not fix the issue.

I then opened the EVE Online Launcher from my EVE folder (instead of Play EVE), and the launcher opened, downloaded/installed a patch, and ran fine.

I'm now running v2.1655130.

Hope this helps at least some of you!

Your log lists the following exception when attempting to connect to our webservers: ConnectionError: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='client.eveonline.com', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /patches/win_launcherinfoTQ_inc.txt (Caused by class 'socket.error': [Errno 10013] An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions)

Are you able to

Then I would suggest two things: firstly to disable AVG and try the process again; whilst AVG might have worked, it's entirely possible that it has stopped working. Valve maintains a list of applications that have been known to interfere with Steam, and it's a handy resource for the EVE Launcher too: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=9828-SFLZ-9289

Secondly to try the steps I outlined in a post here: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=3901215#post3901215

AVG disabeling didn't do anything for me, however rerunning the repair tool as admin installed today's patch so my exefile works and I can play.

I feel bad for pointing this out, this isn't your fault after all, but if your repair tool does the job the launcher was supposed to do, well... please make the launcher functional?

If I want to do what's laid out in "that post" what does my target field say ? "C:\Programs\EVE\eve.exe"\log:debug ? or "C:\Programs\EVE\eve.exe\log:debug" ?

Some anti-virus will detect if an application has been modified (which a patch will do) and block it because it thinks it's been infected with something.
Most anti-virus will also have a setting where you can white-list folders or files. Try adding EVE to that list.

Doing that with the launcher has no effect.

The launcher was broken and at first I couldn't even start with exefile, because it wanted to download something which the adress was wrong.

Running repairtool once it fixed some things but also gave error: I can use exefile to start but launcher still broken.
Running repairtool twice. same but it still seemed to fix something.
Third time running the repairtool fixed again something but no error and launcher is fixed now also.

The latest patch fixed things for me. Meaning 2.1.655130.win32 is working.

Thank you very much for the speedy fix!
