Please fix the hardpoints on the Malediction!
They look horrendous now.

It was a good idea to remove one high slot and add a low slot but the looks are completly off now!

thank you!

Love the rest so far!

I'm enjoying the new market interface. It's much more responsive and has a more crisp look.

I saw someone else mentioned it... but just to put it out there again.

ISIS looks like a cool feature but isn' t working well for me on dual monitors. You guys have done a pretty good job supporting dual monitors, but it seems that new UI features forget that some people play this way. The way it is anchored to the lower right corner is really the problem. It either needs to somehow adjust this anchor with the offset setting, or remove the anchor entirely. Personally I think it might be easiest if there was no anchor, and I was just free to drag around that screen and zoom as I wanted. That's what I expected the UI to do. You just need a few things in place to prevent people from somehow scrolling off and "losing" ISIS in the UI.

I like the new character selection page, but what about all the info, news, etc that used to appear on the right-hand side of the old version?

Where do we see all that useful stuff now?

The changes to interceptors is very nice, specially when it comes to their survivability and ability to keep one step ahead of .. everything!

However, that bubbles have no effect on them makes them really overpowered. Even if you'd like to keep the ability to warp out of bubbles, you should consider making them stoppable as they land on one. Otherwise they are well nigh untouchable until they actively engage a target.

I love the new warp accelleration changes.

Orca with 3 x Hypervelocity T2 rigs and an MWD is pretty nippy now compared to yesterday. I really like how you have fixed the align - mwd on/off - warp trick. All you have to do now is click warp, then click mwd on/off and it will warp nicely 10 seconds later. No more need to click the align button.

The T2 rigged Viator is very fast for moving things between hubs, I still wish you had kept the base warp speed for it at 8AU/s as it was on SiSi though.

Mobile Tractor Unit
After deploying, scooping then re-deploying the mobile tractor unit it won't allow itself to be re-scooped or dragged back into the cargo hold (despite ample space). The status on the mobile tractor unit shows as "Activating 00:00" in bright green. Is there a timeout before you can scoop it?

This is a know issue. The problem manifests when you don't have the bracket visible when it finishes activating. We have a fix that should be out tomorrow. Warping off grid and back again should fix it for you.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

As many of us, Rubicon patch broke my launcher.

I tried Repairtool, updater (launcher), and eventually all workaround I could find...

Eventually I re-installed 3 times EVE from scratch, both online and offline installer and in all case the installer won't go til the end and launch reparitool, which is failling all the time (FileSyncError: Too many retries). I am used with the installer issue as my windows user name contains french char (Jérôme), seems like the installer is not very good with this and keep creating "Jérôme" folder in my windows user folders... anyway...

I've been able to launch EVE (sometimes) manually (without the launcher) but it seems to have some problem (for example all light rendering are going bananas, not smooth at all as usual, look like a Minecraft version ^^)... But as the update never completed, I guess this bonus bug could come from the unfinished update...

I am running a "monster" machine, under 8.1/FR x64 with plenty of Ram, Cpu's, Gpu's and I am stuck like a whale.
I don't see the point to open a petition to CCP as they are probably drowning with same issues. No need ot get harder on them.

Running EVE_Online_Launcher-2.1.655130.win32

I am totally lost. No idea where to start to find a good and fresh workaround....
I have my launcher.log in case...

As per most people stating, the White Info icon is very difficult to notice, at first I thought that you had removed it and I started right clicking -> Show Info, instead of clicking on the icon(then I read the thread noticed the comments and then checked it again in game)

Is it my imagination or is the speed that you have control of your ship coming out of warp much lower than it used to be? iirc it used to be about 75 to 80% of your max speed, now it is more like 40%? It makes it very difficult to continue a heading out of warp when placing drag bubbles.

What's with the new GREEN Bubbles? looks cool and all, but why green?

I've wondered about this too, I think that the interceptors/nullified T3s being completely unaffected by bubbles is a little overpowered. I think they should keep the ability to warp away from a bubble, however they should still be caught by catch/drag bubbles, they can immediately warp through it once on grid with it though.

Hmm… I'm not sure. I prefer to do my scrolling manually rather than have it follow my mouse, if that's what you mean, especially if I'm going to interact with other UI elements at the same time. Maybe if there was a closer zoom level that did that, but in genera, I just see it creating moves I don't want and/or ensuring that the mouse cursor will always cover up what I want to look at.

I don't think it should entirely replace other forms of panning. Zooming out to small-ish thumbnail and back in to the general location you want would generally require much less lateral or vertical travel of the mouse to achieve the panning.

But, yes, that's probably more subjective preference on my part. It seemed the easiest way to achieve panning in a very small area of the screen. Most of my combat characters have a third of the screen given to Overview, Drones, Fleet. Another third to various chats, Local, and watch lists. Another 20% to modules, ship status, and targets and that doesn't leave you much. Granted, when all of those are up because you're in a fleet preparing for combat, it's likely not the preferred time to be nosing around in ISIS.

It certainly has its uses, so there's no dispute there. I'm just feeling uncertain whether the ISIS is one of those cases. I think the thing that decides it for me is that it's just not big enough to warrant that behaviour — the total area, even when zoomed in, is small enough that a simple click-drag will get you pretty much anywhere you want. But that definitely is a pure preference/personal work-flow kind of thing.

Maybe a quick key toggle would do it — press space (or whatever) to hook/release the mouse cursor.

Issues:

1. Command ships are too slow and warp too slow to be part of a roaming gang.
2. Faction Battleships do not have bastion so please give them more warp speed to keep up with roaming gangs.

Depot is a joke?

Did you guys not realise that you can deploy a depot whenever you mine, mission, rat in null, camp a gate.... and fit wcs if you get tackled doing that activity???

So really for small gangs and solo pvp unless you're in or have a HIC its now impossible to keep someone tackled if they're sitting next to a depot which they will be?

Or am I missing something?

With 60k ehp before it reinforces that's plenty of time to fit stabs and warp away.

Oh I might add, in Everquest you used to not be able to loot from bags, so pvp'rs about to die with put all their stuff in bags and all their gear was safe. It was a huge problem for PvP. You've essentially done the same thing here, given people a way to unfit all their gear before they pop and with the reinforcement timer...

Miscellaneous feedback:

1. Ghost sites are way too survivable. Even a properly fit frigate completely trivializes the danger of Ghost sites. While I suppose part of the idea behind the sites would be that people who weren't properly fit would be tempted to go into them for the rewards, the advent of the mobile depot means that a proper fit is 1 minute away for anyone who has some cargo to spare, which brings me to...

2. The mobile depot, while very cool (especially for me since I mostly solo), is OP as all get-out in many regards. Being able to refit in space? Cool. Being able to refit mid-mission? Missions were easy enough before you didn't have to make *any* fitting compromises at all. They would still be AMAZING even if fitting were blocked by aggression timers.

Just an opinion...

The new bubbles look great and the colors are cool. When there are a lot of them they are very bright and it's difficult to see through them. They increase in brightness on overlap to the point of complete whiteout.

Thank you!

On top of the other valid issues here, I honestly don't get why this thing even has a reinforcement timer. It's a temporary portable structure. You aren't meant to come back and defend it, you are meant to use it for as long as you can stick with it. If I find one undefended, it should pop. If I chase off the owner, it should pop. It should be little more than a can with the bonus of changing ship fittings. I get that you don't want these things to instapop under direct fire so the owner has a chance to scoop and run or get his gang or whatever, but that means the reinforcement timer should be on the order of a few minutes.

Also, isn't it time to prevent the ability to change ship fittings while you have an active weapons timer? That would solve 99% of the potential abuses for this thing, and other sketchy tactics to boot.
