Relic Sites - Talocan Hulls

The other day I had an Abandoned Talocan Cruiser appear in a site in a C4. Cleared the site, hacked the can, grabbed everything that was spewed in the RSI-inducing "chase the cans" game. Before looting, cargo scan confirmed 2 wrecked hull sections in the thing. After grabbing everything, i rescanned, and the hulls are still in the scatter container. Alright, fine...I break out my salvager. "This module is not valid". I try the relic analyzer again: "No further tools needed to access". Open cargo wasn't listed as an option.

How could I have gotten these hulls out of the cruiser can? I "won" the hack, collected all cans, and tried every module imaginable. is this a bug, or am I overlooking something basic? Feel free to flame me if it's simple, I just want to know what I was doing wrong so I don't miss loot on the next site!!!

There is something basic that is easy to overlook on the Hull loot.

If your cargo hold is not big enough to fit items in the spew can they will return to the can you hacked them from and you can not reaccess them.

The hulls are large and in most ships your cargo hold is to small to get them all.

Reason #387 that the spew mechanic needs to go.

Kalset nailed it! I was in my covops, with about 170m3 free in the hull. I'd need 200m3 for 2 wrecked hull sections.

Yes, loot spew needs to go. I find myself wanting to just ignore these sites now, whereas before Odyssey I would prefer to run them without exception. Playing a minigame to determine what you won when you win the previous minigame is obnoxious, and adds no serious gameplay value.

Newsflash!, some of the loot may end up trap inside the talocan thing after you hack it with no way of retrieve it.
