can we please get acces to mobile tractor units using corp alts?

Hello,
Been playing around with the mobile tractor units a bit, im guessing they will mostly get used by mission runners.
My idea was to drop them of after clearing a mission or a mission room then after giving them plenty time use an corp alt to salvage and scoop up the loots and the tractor unit.However i found that i could only access them with the same character that deployed them.....
So having access to them with either fleeted characters or corp characters would be nice, or maybe some setting ii could change on them so they can, if a default setting like that is not desireable.
Im thinking there must be many that use alts to loot salvage, if i must deploy with my alt it takes the unit quite a while to tractor and loot a completed site, way more efficient to drop it on the toon that is shooting the rats.
