New MMORTS: Novus Aeterno - Releasing after Kickstarter

Fellow pilots, as an EVE player of 7 years and DUST 514 player, I wanted to share something I've been working on for my friends to know what pesky IRL stuff had been happening to keep me long hours from the CCP universe. So, the Secret is out!

We've created a new sci-fi MMORTS - Novus AEterno, and launched a Kickstarter to polish it for our public release (it's already playable).

Novus AEterno combines empire building with tactical and strategic RTS combat. All within a single massive, persistent multiplayer game universe. Think of EVE / Starcraft / Sins of a Solar Empire. I am thrilled with flying a single ship at a time in EVE and coordinating with friends in fleet actions but sometimes I like the Total War combat mechanic.

I'll give this a backing and hope that I can do something Industrial rather than go around blatting other players as in my declining decades I am not fast enough for anything twitchy.

Thank you - yes I understand with all the fiddly bits and need for efficient macro skills in twitch games - you can miss the fun of the grander epic.

Economic and Industrial strength can be effectively flexed in this game as a viable strategy, it doesn't always come down to biggest fleet or most friends of longest up-time.

Hi crumplecorn,
I am not sure which aspect of RTS you find challenging but the game really does allow you to play to your strengths and isn't reliant on twitch reflexes of insane micro fleet management.

There are many successful paths you can take with this game.
