Dude you are trying to lecture the people that control half the economy in game, the people that have manipulated prices and created cartels for years. They know far more about this than you and spent many hours brainstorming how this would play out and which planets were worth taking. Please step back and think that maybe it is you who is ignorant here. Show a bit of humility and stop embarrassing yourself.

High sec Customs Office change is correct direction for EVE. More player owned stuff the better, more destruction, more tears and more conquest.

As for OP's 90% tax rate. You have two options, blow it up or pack your stuff. There are plenty of POCOs with low tax rate, specially in Low sec, go check em out.

RvB is located in The Forge, a few jumps from Jita. In order to defend them a bit more effectively we selected areas close to home. Most of our members won't go more than 6 jumps for a fight, so we won't travel too much farther to defend POCOs. Unless we think we can get a good fight.....

As for the specifc systems/planets that were picked, the smart people figured that out...

There are ingame tools that you can use to remove the poco and place your own. I guess you figured that posting and crying was the 1st option instead of war decing the people that own the poco. this is eve, deal with it.

Is it not obvious enough? Highsec poco should be set as high as possible. Because tax rate will discourage you to use highsec planets.
This leaves the only options


A. Lowsec.
B. Nullsec.
C. Wormhole.

the more people leave highsec the better EVE becomes.

I agree this is what CCP wanted to happen but... its sortia having the opposite effect as the OP mentioned. Granted its not all of the POCOs but a few are

If you dislike it, declare war on them and take down the poco, and replace it with your own, priced at reasonable rates
