DX11 installed=yes DX11 supported by computer=no WTF?

So I checked to see if DX11 is installed it, the diagnostic says yes.

Next I checked to see if the options allowed me to use it and the launcher option says no. Why does this not work and how do I fix it?

My computer has an AMD 4220HD GFX card.

Same problem here.
nvidia geforce 9600m gt

Ran two clients fine yesterday and it now barely hits 30fps with the settings turned all the way down.

Be careful I have the same problem, the core is getting into critical heat values runnign this. Also the gpu.

Running multiple clients seems to have similar FPS to last build but upon checking is closer to 22 FPS (29+ FPS on 2 clients last build) with only a single client open. I also checked my heat values and this seems to be on the rather high side but thought the improvements allowing DX11 to be used would improve client performance, instead they made it worse and didn't include the functionality for all DX11, is there a certain version of DX11 needed such as the most recent for windows 8 (which I am going to assume is impossible to install on windows 7)?

right click launcher -> run using high performance gpu (or equivalent) OR add a profile in nvidia control panel for the launcher and use the nvidia card by default

won't solve all, but at least you ill be able to use dx11 and dx9 on the nvidia gpu

edit: see that OP uses AMD card, don't knwo about thoses but i would assume a similar option is available somewhere (maybe a profile can be created in CCC)

Both the 9600 m and the 4220 hd don't support DX 11, so untill you upgrade not much you guys can do :(

nvidia gtx 675m supports it and i have the same issues

happens on my gtx 765m too, and it clearly support DX11

You're not having the same issue... you have something that appears to be the same.

In reference to the 9600m and 4220HD it's working as intended and thus not a bug/issue.

Yours is an issue... however you shouldn't have quoted Hige Lipus saying that you've got the same issue.
All he has done is give a valid reason why those 2 cards report that DX11 isn't available.

Your quoting, in effect, gives the appearance that he is wrong (he isn't) and gives hope to those with those cards.

If it moves.... You obviously didn't kill it the first time.

Well considering that my card clearly has the ability to use DX11, as indicated by the DX11 driver updates listed for my card in my system I think that it could possibly be that the engine doesn't support DX11 on the cards specifically even though my computer is clearly indicating that it does support DX11.
