We gank Covies and Retrievers for the monies...we gank Procs for the lulz. Just FYI.

Procs always have the best pods, Retrivers and Covies have the best tears.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

You're tired of "seeing thread after thread" about this so you decide to post the same thread twice?

I find it extremly funny how people like the OP think threads like this would change anything....

Little hint: If thoe people who become victims would actually care about reading up on stuff about eve, they would not get ganked in the first place. If they actually come to the forum in most cases it is after they got ganked and then they are not seeking for help or advise how to prevent it, they just come here to cry about how unfair this is and that it need to be changed.

You could even paint the whole first page in GD with threads like this and still nothing would change.

Zero CPU, zero powergrid and best of all: no stacking penalties

EVE is a game about spaceships and there's an enormous amount of work to do on the in-space gameplay before players (or developers) are ready to sacrifice it for a totally new type of gameplay - CCP Rise

So basically:

A) Buy the permit and follow the code.
or
B) Tank your ship
and/or
C) Have your ship orbit a roid when mining so as to reduce the chances of you getting bumped.

no one in this thread has mentioned offering a gf in local after a successful gank.
Seriously where are your manners.

Or you could just get a mining permit. Takes like 5 mins.

I think the whole point of what the OP is saying is to avoid doing that....

It's getting tiring now seeing thread after thread with illogical suggestions on how to deal with miner griefers. I think it's time we have a thread where we can explain to the carebears (in my case fellow carebears) exactly what they are doing wrong and exactly how they should be dealing with these situations.

People are going about the revolution all wrong.

1) Fit properly. Everyone should be in a Procurer. It should be fitted like a beast. It should be fit with ECM drones. Make gankers work for their kills. Make them pay more for their ships than yours was worth.
2) Your subscription is about to expire. Use that PLEX to extend a newly created trial account. You now have a 51-day account and a free PLEX. Extend your subscription on your main like usual. Use the alt, train it to fly a Blackbird. Congrats, you're now able to jam 2 gankers almost always.
3) Offer 0 tears. In fact, offer 0 words at all.
4) Stop wardeccing them, stop trying to gank them back, stop giving them attention on the forums.
5) Learn to enjoy other aspects of the game. Gankers crowding your systems? Go duel a corp member. Go run a mission.

If we all did this, we could all just sit back and laugh at how much effort they put per 1 measly Procurer being ganked. They would be effectively griefing themselves, having to organize with several other gankers just to land one little kill on a hull worth under 10mil ISK nowadays.

But no. NO. Let's sit in 200 million ISK hulls instead. Let's tank like a 12 year old girl instead. Let's pour a river of tears down local each time they frustrate us. That'll work...

All other indy pilots that have seen the light: Spread the word. Erase the ignorance.

2.

You do know that if you upgrade your buddy invite with a PLEX you can't redeem a PLEX as a reward.

Just saying.

A mining permit really is a miracle module. Just this morning in Piekura I ran into a hungry Hulk pulling in ice like no one's business. He had a permit in tow and met every requirement of the Code.

Can any suggestion in this thread that is not 'tank with a permit' save you 200,000,000 isk instantly while at the same time allowing you to mine peacefully in the highest yield exhumer New Eden has ever seen?

I don't think so.

So many upset griefers in here. Secretly they won't admit they realize they wouldn't bother griefing if all these things happen. You put it best they are griefing themselves at that point, they must know a pilot flying a 10mil ISK ship will find it rather amusing when they drop 15-30mil ISK just to kill him. And get 0 reaction from it.

I love EVE pvp ... But I want real fights. Not ganks.

Miners and Indy make my life easier because it makes it cheaper for me to fit my stuff and go pvp. So, they need to be protected.

At the same time, my first chat when I tried EVE was a miner, and it was thrilling/scary risking it all for precious roids!
