Anyway we may remember that we're talking about the CERN, which is absolutely top notch. There is nobody above, just their equals who work elsewhere.

Don't worry the people on the EVE-O forums can tell CERN where they are going wrong, OOPE is the greatest untapped scientific resource in the world.

Still don't believe it. I'll wait tilll the Japanese and the Americans run the experiment.

The Americans don't have any equipment for that kinda stuff left. They used it all for their war machine.

Besides, america is not that more credible anymore.

Its called Fermilab and they have the Tevatron, the world's second-highest-energy proton-antiproton collider.

You mean this Tevatron?

Apparently its gonna get used unless they relocated the Minos experiment somewhere else.

The Fermilab that my professors happen to work at is not getting shut down. The Tevatron will not be used for high energy particle physics, however. The Minos detector and other experiments do not require Fermilab to be operating at its limits.

That being said, neutrino detection and creation at Fermilab is still at the same level as CERN, the detector for neutrinos created at Fermilab is usually a research lab in Minnesota.

I think I'm starting to understand what's going on here. You're a high energy physicist (or an aspiring high energy physicist) and you're jealous that other people in your field got a lot of publicity.

Obviously.
