Well - per the norm of the last several patches nothing worked properly. This worked for me:

1) Run repair.exe - it will fail, repeatedly - so only once is necessary.

2) Remove all the ".PATCH" files

3) Run repair.exe - runs in a few seconds.

Done. This worked for a simple install and for a Steam install.

You're a good person.

+1 Space Points!

Also I'm sending you a small ingame tip.

Sure glad I have to wait until Thursday to get the expansion.

It's a bandwidth and "being out in the field on mobile" thing. Cool

Bring back DEEEEP Space!

Ok

We're currently investigating several issues, as such the deployment downtime for EVE Online: Rubicon will be extended. We currently have no ETA for uptime, however please check back in this thread for updates!

We apologize for any inconvenience this extension to the deployment may cause.

UPDATE - 11:58 - Tranquility is online and is in VIP mode for testing. Also, Falcon is crying.
UPDATE - 12:23 - TQ is online! Rubicon is live!

If you are experiencing issues with your launcher, please follow these steps to fix it:

1. Go to your EVE folder, enter "launcher" directory.
2. Once there, you'll find "launcher.exe" and "launcher.old.exe"
3. Remove launcher.exe
4. rename launcher.old.exe to launcher.exe
5.Then go to "appdata" directory.
6. Remove "EVE_Online_Launcher-2.1.643940.win32"
7. keep the "EVE_Online_Launcher-2.1.613956.win32" one

This has messed up my head!

1) in my launcher directory I have one launcher tab , no old launcher is there
2) I have removed it, renamed it, bounced it on the wall even
3) I goto my appdata and all I find is EVE_Online_Launcher-2.1.655130.win32, so were are the 2 you mention?
4) if I goto the updates, downloads section there are 2 files EVE_Launcher-2.1.655067.win32 or EVE_Launcher-2.1.655130.win32.

I have even uninstalled and reinstalled the game, the tickets I raised have not been answered, grrr

Anyone shed any light on this for me please?

I get the launcher up, client is ready but when I hit the play button and it says launching it stops and then returns to the play, its like it hasn't got a spark plug in it! its doesn't execute!

Falcon, do keep that beer on ice for me... And be ready to present it to me personally at fanfest. P

I can see a giant PLEX sale right before fanfest just to help fund the 'FALCON ****** UP' beer tab.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?
