Hey there

Fellow Devils and Coalition Partners

In advance I apologize for this wall of text, please bear with me and read on as the events discussed below affect the Devil’s Alliance and our Coalition Partners.

To successfully lead organizational change, leaders must understand how people react to change. They must also formulate an appropriate change strategy. This Devil’s Mail will attempt to explain/deal with both these issues. I realize this is a pixilated game of space ships however I am drawing on standard business practices/mechanics in a way of explaining what follows far below.

Reactions to Change:

People react to major organizational change in a manner similar to how they react to sudden traumatic events such as the death of a loved one, the breakup of a marriage, or a natural disaster that destroys one’s home. The reaction pattern has four stages: (not suggesting in any manner this is as traumatic as real life of course, just using the references for illustration purposes)

Denial - Initial reactions deny the change is necessary.
Anger - Get angry and someone must be blamed.
Mourning – Denying stops, change is inevitable, acknowledge lost and mourn it.
Adaptation - Accept the need for the change and get on with business.

I and the rest of The Devil’s Alliance have experienced to varying degrees’ the reactions mentioned above. Executors for the Devils Alliance approved Sivor’s recommendations for change as outlined below and are optimistic that any adjustments will be minor and hopefully with little disruption.

We are sharing the mails below as a way of explanation, in requesting that ALL of Sivor Detmen’s Devil’s Alliance/Coalition related business be re-routed thru LondoMollari; PER SIVOR’S REQUEST (allowing his reduced time to be spent PvP’ing).

The Devils, with Sivor’s and Londo's approval, are sharing these mails to explain the need for this transition and to calm any nervousness in having to deal with our/your new point of contact.

My personal appreciation and gratitude towards Sivor as expressed in our private mails below will, I hope, reassure you that business thru me will continue as he set in motion.

I have addressed this mailing to the Devil's Coalition Partners as members of the W.A.D.S. chat channel. If I have not reached someone of importance to our Coalition business, forgive my ignorance and forward them a copy please. I would also request an update to the key personnel the Devils need added to any future Coalition mailings.

Hey guys!

This was a day that i knew that would come eventually. It was a great pleasure for me to lead for all this time.
We have a great group of people and realy i couldn't desire for a better place to be.

But unfortunatly my time is getting short for all the things I was doing in the alliance and if I cannot be the leader that I want to be and that you deserve i rather not be doing any of that.

So from this day Londomollari is now the PEW CEO and will be taking all my roles in the alliance.

I will remain in the alliance for the time being as just a member i won't be FCing on regular basis anymore.

Sivor I am humbled by your confidence and trust in me. I can but hope to continue on in the same manner set by you since I have been a member of PEW.
From my first mission with you in a low sec roam, while in the Senate, to present you have always lead by example and stood firm to your values. I joined PEW to learn PVP from you, so I really appreciate the support, advice and assistance you've given me during my time here. You have generously shared your expertise, experience and most of all your online eve time to take me in tow; I truly appreciate your support and friendship. Not to belabor a point, I appreciate your guidance, and the time you spent to bring me along to this point. I will of course do my best to not let you down nor have my actions reflect back badly on you, as you, Sivor Detmen, are one of my Bright Lights.

It has been an honor and my privilege to fly with you and get to know you in times of drama and high crimes. I look forward to sharing EVE time with you, as our new paths may dictate.

Well, if you read it it states one of our leaders are stepping down and his replacement taking his roles as CEO of one of the corp and his roles in alliance.
This have minor effect and I would not call this a new leadership :)
